Very impressed with this for the price. Could never get my umbrella to stay put. With this, it didn't even budge.

This handy little umbrella stand arrived ahead of schedule and is well built. It also has the Allen Head tool included and an extra fastener in a nice package that retains the parts in the box. The unit came well protected in bubble pop bags and a nice box in a box prevented any damages. I used the included tool to fasten it into the soil and this tool is finished in heavy duty rust/chip resistant finish. In addition, it has rubber/plastic plugs to keep the edges in check. The unit was easy to fasten to the Earth and then I hoisted a 9' umbrella and it is holding fast with 3-8 mph breezes. The color is black and I chose this to match the umbrella stand and it seems to come in other shades as well. It holds the umbrella tightly with the fasteners and this is a sand unit so it is extra heavy duty. I installed mine as far as I could into the ground. it is a great addition and it is below the patio level and outside the walk area so not a trip hazard either.
