Was looking for something to sit on (besides the bed) to put my shoes on when getting ready for work, and my wife wanted something that looked nice in the bedroom. So we bought this bench to place at the foot of the bed and it looks nice and is functional. Construction seems to be very sturdy. My wife also uses the storage space for extra blankets and such. Would buy this bench again and would recommend to others looking for something similar.

Not easy to assemble . The directions were not very clear and it was very hard to align up the hoes up with the screws where the arms attached. Otherwise I love the construction. It seems to be sturdy and well-made and I believe it will hold up for years. I do appreciate having the extra storage that this bench provides, and the color is beautiful.

Beautiful! Quick and easy to assemble in around 30 minutes. Buy 4 washers though because it requires 8 but only ships with 4. Fortunately I had my own but they aren't black and they look bad. I was very disappointed on Christmas Eve scrambling for washers. Otherwise this is a 5 star item. I sit on this to put on shoes at 200 lbs. It seems to be a good quality item and my wife loves it. It has a soft round plastic like part under the legs that makes it move very easily on hardwood and doesn't scratch it. You may need a rug or foot pads if you need it to be more stable.
