Is this a serious alternative to an actual drum kit, no. But it is great as a gift for my 13 year old that wants mess around and get an introduction in to drumming. The best part for everyone else in the room is the complete silence. The haptic response of the sticks is good and it sounds good in the headphones, but remember that this is a virtual device. It is not perfect and you have to re-orient yourself with the drum kit occasionally, but it only takes a few seconds.

We gave this to our son as a Christmas gift. He has been a drummer for twenty-two years. He loves this AeroBand drum set. It has many other options. The pedal can also be a double bass pedal and also can hook up to his computer. It comes with eight different kits. This was a perfect gift!

My son got it for Christmas and has been over the moon ecstatic! He's drumming in the car on long trips and in front of the tv with his head phones on. He said it's backwards and laughs sometimes saying the tom is in the wrong spot. He has decided to read the manual finally and get it set up right!

My husband was over joyed with his unexpected gift. Our son's were upset the did not get one. He says they work great and is looking at other items. He likes that the instructions are clear and he is still getting the hang of it, but he's having fun doing it.

Brought this for my 9 year old son who is a drummer. He has been playing all day. I love it because I can enjoy my tv in PEACE! He gets practice and I get peace lol

Bought this for my husband and he loves it. It was a little hard to sync up at first but once you do it's a lot of fun.
