My garden is growing like crazy! I have never been able to grow herbs, so this is an amazing find. It's easy to set up, and the lights on the front tell me when to add water and plant food. Only one of the six has been slow to grow, but it is finally peeking out of the top of its pod. I am so glad I bought this.
I loveeee my AeroGarden Harvest!!! The best purchase I've ever made for my mental health. Easy to use, clean, and maintain. My lettuce tastes better than the ones you purchase in stores. I highly recommend this to all my apartment planters who are interested in hydroponics cultivation. Caution: Be mindful of the light button as it's sensitive to touch
I love my Harvest garden and have "harvested" three salads from it so far, and the lettuces are still growing taller and thinker than ever! The pump only goes on for 5 minutes very hour, and I can hardly hear it. However, I also ordered the Sprout and am not happy with it because the loud, noisy pump runs constantly and never shuts off.
Set up was super easy, and a lot of supplies are provided. It came with 2 seed kits (one was a bonus), and I bought one extra lettuce kit. I now have enough plant food and pods to last me at least a couple of months. The indicators are great, and allow for easy maintenance, the garden itself tells me when the water level is low or when I need to add some plant food. The only drawback in my eyes was how insanely bright the light emitted is. It shines exactly as it needs to for proper plant growth, but just a heads up. I put a light bandana on top of the garden it and mellowed out the brightness just fine. This is a great starter kit, and really a great gift for anyone. Absolutely recommend.
Love my harvest. Everything grows big in the harvest. I haven't had issues with the system itself. My only concern is the roots grow together from whatever is being planted. So make sure to transplant before you have a hot mess. Majority of my pods grew too big before seeding or coming to fruit. So I have yet to see a harvest garden in full bloom, but thats the least of my worries.
So far I've really enjoyed this aerogarden. I have tomatoes growing and they are flourishing. One of the things I noticed are that the buttons on the front are a little confusing. It took a try or two to realize they only need a very light touch since they need more of a feel than a “push”, and I tried to push way too hard at first. Otherwise it's a top notch machine.
I discovered The AeroGarden when a friend asked me to "babysit" hers while her and her husband were away recently. I loved it immediately, so I ordered one of my own. The AeroGarden arrived with very easy to follow assembly instructions, and I had it together and operating in minutes. I chose the lettuce kit, and in just two weeks' time I had freshly-grown lettuce for salads and snaking during the end of winter in Detroit! The plants are hardy, very fast growing and produce great-quality results. I'd highly encourage anyone to get one of these; I only wish I had a larger space for a larger unit!
My Mother and Daughter bought Aerogardens and every time I saw them at their homes they were bursting with enormous herbs and flower so I bought one for myself. I bought a red Harvest Elite. When the garden arrived I was amazed at how cute and compact it was. It was simple to set up and attractive to look at. I started with the herb pack...2 kinds of basil, thyme, dill and mint. I've has my garden for almost two months and it has grown so fast that I am able to use fresh herbs daily. Its really fun to watch. i liked it so well that I bought one for a friend. She started with the lettuce pack and within a month was making salads. This little garden yields big results!
This is my third hydroponic garden from Aerogarden; I also have a Harvest Elite and a Twelve System. This unit replaced a much earlier model of the Harvest where the lights no longer functioned and could not be replaced, but Aerogarden gave me a great discount on this purchase. This unit is simpler in function and very easy to set up and use. The button on the back, to raise the lights, is definitely an improvement over the old "yank and pull" setup. I am currently growing petunias in this unit, and they are already blooming. Some people hoard cats (we don't qualify, with only two), but I could definitely become an Aerogarden hoarder!
We were real excited about it and the plants were growing very good. But for whatever reason we don't know why within 2 days they died. I was going to text customer service or call them but I seen this email so I thought I'd respond to this first.
