Great for a simple at home reformer. Gives a good core and cardiovascular work out. Wish it had a couple additional features. This has helped me regain my strength after being able to return to exercise after a couple of surgeries.
It's everything that it is supposed to be. I especially like the rebounder. It's my favorite!
Easy to assemble. Work-out to your level and work your way up. Low impact workout!
So excited how quickly my reformer arrived. It was interesting putting together...BUT easy. The only thing...it comes with a mat...but the mat was not in the box. I did call 1-800-925-6278 Customer Service...provided my order number and they are sending the mat in 2 to 3 days. If you don't get a mat...make sure you do the same. I am so excited to get started. I've heard you see results in 30 days. Today is Sunday, November 15, 2020....by December 15th...I can't wait to see my results. I'll be posting on my Facebook page. Great investment for my health and self. Seriously, with this pandemic, I'm so not going back to the gym soon, and living in Michigan...the winters are long and cold. I definitely need at 57 a machine that will tone, lengthen and strengthen my body in a new way. Tired of the running (pounding on joints) and heavy weights. I've been wanting to try the pilates reformer classes for years...but the are soooooo expensive. I've seen these exact machines at gyms. INVEST IN YOUR HEALTH AND YOURSELF TOO.
I've been thinking about buying a reformer for some time now. Seeing it here at SamsClub.com at one of their "Shocking Values" prices, I couldn't refuse. Sure, it's not a "professional" quality reformer but it does what I need it for. And for a lot less and taking up less space. It's pretty easy to assemble and the instructions are quite clear. For now it has enough variation options in regards to resistance that I am satisfied. (I see optional/extra bungee cords specifically for AeroPilates equipment at various on-line sites). For me, it's worth it. Although I am new to Pilates, my wife has been doing it for some time at a studio. She was forced to cancel her membership there because of the pandemic. She says she is happy with this home reformer, too! Like me, she appreciates how it doesn't crowd the room but still is sturdy enough to give her a full workout. All-in-all, good value.
It's very nice for the miney
I bought this AeroPilates when it was on sale. I had an earlier version and used it daily for many years. You can choose the cords to use to adjust for the level of resistance, allowing for a variety of fitness levels. I look forward to my workouts!
Great for beginners. Easy to set up and get going. Only down side is that it isn't the best for short people like 5 ft or taller then 6ft my wife is 5ft and the cords are still to long and I'm 6'1 and ths base is a tight squeeze
It arrived quickly and it was pretty easy to set up. I like using it. There are dvds to show you how. Its quiet and pretty smooth moving
This is a great budget friendly machine, BUT IT DOES NOT COME WITH THE EXERCISE MAT! I have been doing pilates for 10 years, and I take private lessons as well as group mat and reformer classes. Since covid-19 began, the fitness centers in the area have been closed and I needed "something" at home to keep me on track. I saw this machine at a great price and decided to take the leap. Space is a precious commodity in my place so I absolutely had to have something that could be stored away. This fits the bill nicely! It is a bit heavy to have to put away daily, but doable without much difficulty. Unfortunately, I don't have a choice because real estate is limited in my home. If you have the space, it makes more sense to leave it out. You will use it more if it's in your line of sight. The things that keep this from being 5 star for me are: the missing equipment mat, and one side of the frame isn't flush and there is a distinct "bump" when rolling. It doesn't hinder the workout, but it IS slightly annoying. It's not enough of an annoyance to return it, but something to be aware of. Hopefully you will be lucky enough to get one that sits more flush. Since I seem to be the only one who mentioned this issue, I may have just gotten a wonky one. The absence of the mat was NOT a deal breaker for me, but I did notify Walmart of the issue. It may just be that the wrong information is being shown, because the packaging makes no mention of a mat being included. Hopefully Walmart will update the info so that others are not misled. Even without the mat, this machine is still an excellent value. If you have used "professional" pilates equipment, THIS WILL NOT MIMIC THAT EXPERIENCE. There is a reason why those machines are thousands of dollars. However, if you are new to pilates or need something "easy on the wallet" to get you through the pandemic, then I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this machine. I like it so much, that once covid-19 has passed I will cut costs by eliminating some of my reformer classes and use this at home instead.
