love this sharpener, better looking that the oldschool kind and easier for my 5 year old to get her pencils sharpened on her own. also fits different size pencils and has the option of sharp or blunt tip, which is very important with the little ones, they cant handle the sharp tips.

You just need to insert the pencil and select the sharpening level using the slider , it will quickly sharpens itself without holding and pencil pops out . Absolutely love this pencil sharpener. Use it constantly. So easy to use. Color pencils come out perfectly sharpened every time. I have grandchildren here often and we use pencils daily. They sharpen pencils daily. The sharpener takes the pencil, pulls it down, sharpens the pencil quickly, then releases the pencil sharpened perfectly. The pencil last longer because it doesn't just eat away at the pencil. The two options for different amounts of sharpness is excellent for writing pencils and color pencils. It is so easy to empty the shavings without any mess. This vertical sharpening has been such a surprise. I am so glad I tried this sharpener. I will be giving this sharpener as a gift to our family and homeschool friends. I definitely recommend this product.

This is an effective pencil sharpener that children enjoy using and watching.

I have a love-hate for the size of this pencil sharpener. It's big enough that the kids can't lose it, but it takes up a lot of space. The pencil is a little difficult to push in, and I had to have a talk with the kids and show them how to do it so they didn't jam it there too hard. This makes the pencils so sharp!

it would be great except that the points on the pencils are like stilettos. Way way way too long. impossible to use at that long length without it just breaking off. it's a shame.
