I did not have build up on my scalp at any point. I also did not have dry hair after washing it out. I am very pleased with this conditioner and I will continue to use it.

I still used it, but it's different than other conditioners. I'm not sure that it did what it was supposed to do with my hair, but my curls are defined after using this conditioner in the corresponding shampoo. The smells pleasant. I do think the product works, the texture really put me off. Overall, I'd be willing to try it again to see how well it really holds up long term.

It's more runny than creamy, which is not necessarily a bad thing for distribution. The scent is very light and it doesn't leave the hair feeling waxy or filmy. It wasn't as hydrating as other products I've tried, but it didn't leave our hair feeling dry or hard to comb, which is a plus!

I'm very white and my daughter is white and native American. I think that might play a part. But it makes your hair smell great. Not perfume-y and not super strong.
