After The Music Stops (CD)

You may have to hose down your CD player after you listen to this one. It's HOT,lol! That was corny, yes, but putting the Gospel of Jesus Christ over tight beats was guaranteed to make a hit. But if you get this one, you gotta get "Real Talk" too. Both are winners :0))

This is an excellent CD. Lecrae's lyrical content, delivery, wordplay, and overall sound is a step above a lot of Christian rap that I have heard. But my favorite part is the fact that his doctrine and beliefs are directly in line with the Bible and the Bible *only* - and it's very apparent throughout his content. A cut above the rest, for sure.

I have a 14 year old son who wanted to listen to rap. When he told me he wanted this CD I had him play songs off of it for me and then agreed to let him purchase it. Great messages in the music. A few great songs. Music now days is so bad that I really monitor what he listens to. I want him to grow up with morals and teach him the right way to treat a woman. Now disrepect them like most of this rap does.

This album challenges the listener in so many ways. Lecrae lets us know that it's not just about the music. The question is raised : "are you living the life of a Christian?" This is definitely worth every penny. Don't read any more reviews. JUST COP THE ALBUM.

Never did listen to gospel rap but was just trying something new and loved it.

The album was okay but his latest album is alot better. I had to skip aloyt of songs on this one. It felt like he was battling a commerical rapper more so than he was trying to get us jumping for christ
