AG Care Mousse Gel Extra-Firm Curl Retention 10 oz

I've been trying to find something I can use on my fairly tight perm so I can do wash and go style. Over the past couple of years I've been trying dozens of products. This one does the best job so far. I'm a white woman, old, and my hair is fine, thin, without a perm it's as straight as straight can get and with a perm it's kind of kinky curly. With this product used on my permed wash and go hair it keeps my hair from becoming frizzy for several days as long as all I do is figure comb it each morning. Smells really nice too.

Hands down the best mousse for curly hair! It leaves my curls bouncy and soft. I cannot live without this stuff!

I was surprised by how fragrant this mousse gel is. I am not one of those people who is sensitive to fragrance, but this Ag Care mousse gel has an overwhelming fragrant scent. I was honestly shocked by how overwhelming it was because usually their products are lightly scented, but this product is heavily scented. On the other hand, I also felt like there was a slight spoiled smell to this product, but maybe that's because this product is old. Also, it didn't define my hair much at all.

Too sticky and crunchy ~ dried out my hair! Disappointed

It's ok, a little too sticky for me but the worst part is the smell. It is a very strong pollen like scent, made me so nauseous that I had to return it.

I wanted to love this product, based on my first use but the day after was the worst ;(. It made my curls look nice the first day. But the next day my hair felt thick with product, I felt like I had hairspray and hair wax in my hair. This product tangled my hair so much after day 1. I usually wash my hair every 3 days, but I couldn't stand it with this mousse gel, my hair felt so dirty, I've been washing it every day. Context, I have fine curly hair, so take that into account if you have the same texture.

I compared this to a bottle I got at Ulta and the bottle looks different. I don't think it is authentic for the brand considering it was sold out everywhere else. my hair does not curl as good with the one I got from Ulta.

Makes hair stringy and leaves a residue. Hair is limp, frizzy and dry. Second day is not going to happen with this product.
