this product makes my dinning table new again! very happy with the result.
I liked the ease of use and the coverage it provided.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this glaze to put on my new corn hole boards. I wood burned designs in them so I needed something that would fill in the grooves and make a flat surface. This stuff did the trick almost too good. It is crystal clear so I can see the designs perfectly and they look great, but for this application I now have the problem of them being too slick. Oh well, got to take the good with the bad.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I got this my husband saw different purposes for it than I did. He replaced a table, a guitar, and other useful things. But I used it to make coasters, Christmas ornaments and picture paperweights! I love this stuff! Its so easy to use, no mess, and is by far the best I have ever used! Try this!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to re-finish the family table, and thought for certain it was going to take forever because I needed a thick coat of varnish because it was all natural wood I assumed it would literally take forever. But I was astonished at how easy this was to use how thick it came out and it looks like a dream. I definitely won't use anything else in the future.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Instructions were really straight forward and easy to follow. The glaze went on easily and evenly. Really high-quality gloss and was exactly what I was looking for. Looking forward to using this a lot of my projects. You can tell it's also super durable too, highly recommended.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since getting into furniture repurposing, I've been eager to try an epoxy finish on one of my pieces. I used this epoxy on a small side table I refinished and it turned out great, but there are a couple things to note. It advertises on the box that the finish dries thinner than poly but with the strength/protection of 75 coats of poly. I do think it feels more protective than the poly I use, but is definitely a “high gloss” finish. That's one thing to keep in mind when deciding whether to use this or poly. After spreading around to evenly coat table top, I found that going over the top with a hair dryer helped get rid of the bubbles and smoothed the product out. For future small projects I might stick with poly but I'd love to try this product on something like a custom bar top.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Make sure you follow the directions TO THE LETTER, if you do you will be thrilled with the result. If you don't...you spent your money for nothing and you cannot get this stuff off once its on....so.... watch the YOUTUBE videos out there, learn from peoples mistakes and successes before you start.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this for about a week. Mixes very easily and takes color powder well! The smell when mixed isn't overpowering like most others I've used. I've used this to make 2 small river tables. Worked great when ran through the planer and took the hand sander extremely well. Definitely going to be getting more!
Epoxy is kind of a pain to use especially if you have never used it before. This seems like a great idea having the brown color already in the finish but it does not come out even. Depending on the thickness of the epoxy the color can be very dark or barely noticeable. I also had issues with bubbles even with a heat gun. You are better off using a stain and a clear finish.
