Agri-Fab 26 in. Push Lawn Sweeper Model # 45-0218

Love this. Saw some that where a lot cheaper but after researching I went with this one. Get what you pay for. Easy to put together put was missing clips for bag, which the company sent and received 3days from my call. Does great job on level ground but if you have dips you will need a rake. However, it says me hours of work and easy to dump the leaves but I use my mucher when bag is full and shred them straight into a paper bag. Great item. No regreats.

Took some time to put together and while putting together I did have some doubts regarding its durability due to the sides of the hopper being kind of "flimsy". However, after everything was tightened up the whole unit became rigid. I then used it the next day and was very impressed at how much grass it picked up after mowing. It's also very easy to push, and pull (allowing you to move it without engaging the sweepers), and very easy to store away after using. Wish I would've purchased it years ago! For the money it's a very nice sweeper!

I use it to pick up grass clippings from my yard. In the Fall I'll pick up everything! !! It sweeps well. A big break from my rake. I do wish I could have bought one that was a bit wider by a couple of inches. A couple more inches would mean a wider area of coverage, therefore less strokes. Especially when picking up after a mower. A couple more inches could pick up two rows instead of just missing the second row.

If you don't wish to constantly rake or get out the bagger mower, this is s perfect alternative. Hopper is large and removes and folds easily enough to get all leaves in trash can. As others will tell you, some problems on uneven areas but we blow all leaves to level spots. Amazingly easy.

Works great! Turned out to be exactly what I wanted. Was super easy to assemble. Shopped around before picking this lawn sweeper. Great design makes it easy to empty and clean up. I recommend this sweeper to anybody looking for one.

My delivery had an issue with the wheels locking, and one wheels gear teeth were worn, which may or may not be related. I did not get one bag filled. The reason for the high rating is that Agri-Fab's customer service was knowledgeable and helpful, and I spent a couple of hours with them as we tried to diagnose the problem. When we could not fix it, this was easy to return through Walmart. The Sweeper was very easy to put together and the parts appeared well made. One thing I learned for prospective buyers was that this is really meant to deal with leaves, and is not really meant to deal with things like pine cones or pine needles.

I put it together in about 40 minutes. All the parts were there and new. It took a little bit to figure out the perfect brush hight to work for my yard. Once I got used to how to hold the handle it started picking up leaves and sticks! My yard is not fully level so it took a couple passes to make it look like it was just raked!

This Agri-Fab sweeper does exactly what it is meant to: picks up leaves and grass clippings. It was fairly easy to put together. Almost all of it is plastic which leads one to think of it having a cheap build and its somewhat flimsy. But this does have its advantages: most of it won't rust and it is light weight. The brushes are also of a plastic nature - not like the one I grew up with that had natural broom bristles. The sweeper is harder to push than I remember but this can be adjusted by raising the height of the broom. I have one concern that the elastic bands holding a section of the catching bag with break or loose the elastic quality. Time will tell.

I am 66 and item does not push very easy and is hard on my back. when it does push. The brushes get hung up if the terrain is uneven in your yard. Might be great for someone younger with a lot of energy. It tires me out to quickly. Wish now I had gotten one to pull behind my riding lawnmower.

Quality of sweeper components is somewhat better than I had expected, given that it is primarily plastic. I use it mostly to sweep birch leaves from our neighbor's trees off of our lawn. It probably works better with larger leaves. But the sweeper design is poor - sweeper brushes operate to sweep leaves to the front, where supposedly they will be directed over the top of the brushes via a baffle into the holding catcher. But too often the leaves are kicked out of the front to the sides where they escape being swept, and so more passes are needed. As a kid we had a leaf sweeper which operated with the brush sweeping leaves toward the rear and toward the catcher basket as push lawn mowers do, and a baffle made certain that the leaves were actually directed into the catcher. The result was vastly better. Also unless the surface to be swept is quite level this machine requires constant height adjustments, so that the operator has to stop to make the adjustment. The head design should incorporate some sort of floating mechanism so that height adjustment would be automatic and instantaneous. I tried using this sweeper with the height adjustment loosened to allow the head to float, but with the overall design as it is the head then rotated forward and jammed the brushes into the lawn, making it impossible to push the sweeper.
