It is high quality material in the roller. Pulls behind the lawn mower very well. With water it weigh about 250lb does a very good job. And easy to pull
I bought this roller because the ad stated it could be pulled by a tractor. This roller works great when pulled by the tractor or being pushed. The only problem I had was the 1st one ordered came without the assembly parts or instructions. I reordered and the 2nd came with everything.
Perfect for the job. heavy yet easy to pull with a 4 wheeler or large riding lawn mower for creating flat pathways to build sidewalks in the yard with.
We find the roller very easy to use with our garden tractor. Easy to fill and empty. The only thing for your information is don't leave the water in long term as we saw that the floor side will flatten slightly from the weight if the water is left in. Rotate until you decide to empty. Pleased with the product
easy to use
The #45-0267 roller worked great. I just want the hitch up to my ATV to be via a ball coupler. So I'll be making that modification in the near future. I pulled the roller behind my Kawasaki Brute Force ATV KVF750i. It pulled it over my food plots effortlessly. Even stopping, reversing, worked fine. Pushed the seeds into the ground as wanted. I'm just a stickler that my equipment be heavy duty. Especially on my hilly WV property. You do not want this roller, or heavier Agri-Fab models, getting away from you on hills! It's truly Agri-Fab's only fault with their rollers. Most likely to keep the price down on the roller. (Hey Agri-Fab could you offer a vertical 3 sided tube part, hollow at the bottom, to bolt to the handle for a ball coupler? Some with double bolts to the handle for the heavier rollers.) Well packaged. Very good quality materials. Particularly like the expanding plug for the drain since other maker's designs typically use a plastic-to-plastic threaded disc which invariably jams. Took off one star for a problem with assembly: the OD of the axle 'bearing' is 1" and the hole it's meant to be inserted into is 63/64ths ID. This is probably due to painting a 1" hole after it was formed - the paint makes the hole smaller. Anyway, opened it up slightly with a stepped drill bit and all was good. It may be something Agri-Fab could change. Without modification you'll never get the bearing inserted. Sturdy after assembling.
Does a good job rolling straight lines. I have a craftsman xt1 lawn tractor and when I make turns the metal frame of the roller hits the back tires. Making it difficult. The piece that attaches to the tractor needs to be longer to give you more turning clearance.
delivery service gave me damaged package they documented it,inside package the plastic bag containing the directions and parts had been torn open and thrown inside box,There were parts missing this is a large item and difficult to carry so it was much easier to go and purchase the missing parts
I purchased this roller based on the reputation of Agri-fab and the fact that it was made in the USA. When I opened the box and laid out the parts I realized there was no manual or assembly instructions; no worries, there is your website. While assembling the product I found that the package was short two bolts and two lock nuts for the handle ( no problem, I have plenty of spares). The crowning glory was the absence of the correct hitch plate; this makes the roller useless to me. So tomorrow morning I get to drive to town and see if the store can help me out. If Quality is your "Job#1" I would hate to see "Job 2"! I feel badly for the store I bought this from; your negligence reflects poorly on their good reputation.
