Heats about as well as an old incandescent bulb. If that's all you need it'll be good. Mine had a spot that looked like blood on it. There's a photo. I suggest you disinfect it when you get it.

This bulb says 100watts, it barely put out any heat, ridiculous! Did absolutely no good. A waste of money forsure, and I messaged the seller twice with no response.

I purchased this ceramic heat lamp for my ball pythons enclosure on January 1st. The item arrived on time, worked perfectly keeping the enclosure the correct temperature for a week until today January 9th. Now it does not work at all. I do not have the package to return it because I threw it away when I thought the item would work. Long story short… it could be a fluke so yes I recommend the bulb but also keep the package just in case.
