AIR COIL NAILER 3-1/4"

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love it, easy to use and it has power to nail it. I'm a roofer and I use it everyday. Has no problem beside little heavy gun but I'll get use to it. Looking forward buy another one.

I've now gone through a case of 12d framing nails and a case and a half of 8d ring nails. The gun has performed excellently. It would be nice if there was some way of securing it to a ladder or wood frame, but that's typical of all the coil nailers I've ever used or seen.

Best gun I've used for framing. I've been using Hitachi/Metabo coil nailers on every framing job for over a decade.

This product is very good and it works perfectly. I like it very much.

I use this gun to do carpentry framing. It never jambs, miss fires or acts up. It's powerful and can shoot all different size nails for various projects accurately. Best framing gun there is. Would be nice to have a lighter smaller gun but we can't live in dreamworld can we. If you need a framing gun, buy this one. It will last your lifetime if you care of it it's easy maintenance. No joke, 1 gun for 30+ years of everyday all day use. No one else makes a gun that even comes comes. Did I mention it holds 200+ nails at a time so throw away your stick nailers and do yourself a favor if you like easy fast quality work. Buy this exact model gun. You'll thank me later.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace an older malfunctioning Hitachi coil nailer that nobody was able to fix. Got tired of having to load and clean up after “stick” nailer. Tried some of the cheaper options, and it was obvious they would not last. Where I come from, this is the choice of the pros.

Have had several of these coil nailers for years. When framing you need a nailer that won't let you down and this is the one. Excellent quality and very durable. If I had a nickel for every nail I've shot with mine. I keep saying I'm going to try a battery powered one but this pneumatic just keeps on going.

Great gun with good power and balance that is well known with Hitachi framing guns. This new model comes with a factory rafter hook, mine broke within a few weeks. The rafter hook metal is so thin and cheap feeling. Hitachi almost got it correct with the rafter hook, however it is so cheap it bends from the natural weight of the nail gun. After 30 times of it bending back and forth, it will just snap. I will be reaching out to Hitachi for a replacement hook, hopefully better quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have the previous Hitachi branded coil nailer and boy has it lasted the test of time. Custom home framer working year round in Canadian freezing temperatures in the winter, and 40+°C heat in the summer. Only issue is you need to take care of the coils and be sure to not drop or deform them before use. After 5+ years am starting to have issues with the nail feed but plan on changing the feed spring and should be good as new. I've always preferred coil with 250 nails as opposed to strips which weigh the pouch down.

The best designed nailer period. Its good in winter good in summer. Works in mud without much of maintenance.I hope guys from Hitachi will keep doing the same series in 20 years from now The people who complain on weight can buy a cheaper version that last in production framing 2 months.
