My suggestion would be to add some grommets around the bottom of the cover, and use wire rope and a lock, to ensure the cover remains in-place during high winds. I lose one due to high winds, but with the grommets, the cover stayed in-place with 70 mph winds.

This item was a perfect fit and will provide protection of my new unit this winter.

It is really waterproof and fits well on our airconditioner unit outside our house. Used it during the winter and now spring and never had problems with it. It never got blown by the wind even when it was so windy.

Heavy enough to protect for more than just a couple of years. More durable than a tarp and a LOT less work as it just slips over and can be tightened at bottom.

Sturdier quality and thicker than expected. Fits my A/C well and already had numerous rain events and has proven waterproof.

It covers any size ac. The only flaw with this is that it can still fly off even you tighten the string but it was a easy fix when you place a brick on top.

The item was not as described. It was supposed to include two quick-close durable straps and a drawstring. It did have a drawstring at the bottom but it did not have the two quick-close durable straps. We have yet to have a windy day since I secured it with just the drawstring, so here's to hoping it stays secure when the Minnesota winter winds start blowing.
