Great Product! Cools my daughter's bedroom quickly. She has the hottest room in the house during the summer months and this cooler makes it the coldest room! We love it!

So happy I made this purchase. I have been having trouble keeping small areas of my house cool, for example my bedroom while sleeping. Even with the AC running in my house, these 100 degree temperatures have been rough. I love that this machine has wheels and only requires an outlet, so I can move it around the house as needed. *it works much better with ice packs or ice cubes.

This product has made summer bearable in Southern California. I needed a portable evaporative cooler for my father that lives in a mobile home. His mobile home gets very hot and this portable evaporative cooler has been a life saver. It is compact and does everything as described. It only took us five minutes to get it out of the box, set up, and running. My father does not want to leave his room because this cooler makes it so comfortable. As soon as we are able too we plan on purchasing two more for other rooms in the mobile home. If you are thinking about purchasing this product from SKONYON DO NOT HESITATE! I guarantee you will be completely satisfied with it.

I really love this thing! It doesn’t make your room cold so if you’re expecting that I’d look elsewhere. However, it does help a lot to cool down the room. Make sure to have a window cracked open or the door so the room doesn’t get humid. I love that the water tank is so big I don’t have to refill as much as I thought. When you add ice and cold water it shoots out cold air.

Having previously lived in the humid mid-Atlantic region I knew that an evaporative air cooler (EAC) would not work there. But now living in the low humidity of the Tucson suburbs I decided to give it a try. The unit did raise the humidity level inside my small bedroom from about 42% to 53% but that by itself did nothing to keep me cool. To get any cool air to come from the unit you had to use refrigerated water and put ice or cooling blocks in the water to keep the water cool as long as possible. If you did this you were able to take the room air temp that went in to the EAC, in my case about 81-degrees, to come out at about 77-degrees. This is no where near the output of a true HVAC unit but was enough to make a marginal difference in the room. However, to really be cool you had to put yourself directly in line with the fan blown air. And, at medium speed, the fan noise was very noticeable.

Evaporative coolers are great in a dry climate. We are on the desert in Arizona so we thought we would give this a try. It feels good if you sit directly in front of it but it appeared to have no effect on the overall room temperature. So if you can sit in front of it then it is good but if you want to cool the room you'll need something bigger in my opinion.

What I dislike is? It is not what I expected. Wasn’t cool enough. Personally I used it for a week to see maybe it needed time to cool down much colder but the coldest it gotten was 78 degrees. Also I used really cold water and added ice to it to make it cooler and not much change .

I just received this item. Everything looks good except the rollers do not fit the holes at the bottom. Only one hole is perfect sized, roller can click in. Two holes are slightly small; If using some force, it may work. The last hole is too large, taping the roller won't help it. Luckily, this item is returnable to Walmart, I am going to pack it up and return to the store on Monday.

You guys deserve 1/4th of a star, if that. Horrible product, expect the swamp cooler to do absolutely NOTHING but leak after having it for a year and NEVER EVEN USING THE SWAMP COOLER ONCE. GREAT PRODUCT OBVIOUSLY AND THAT'S WHY THEY ONLY LET YOU RETURN IT FOR 2 MONTHS BECAUSE THEIR PRODUCT WONT LAST!

I bought based off the reviews I read stating that it kept their room or apartment cold and it did not even keep our living room cold. I had it on 60 and I still ran my ceiling fan and air conditioner in attempts to keep it cool. Just too expensive of an item to not work properly
