I love this device. I put it right beside me when I'm working and it keeps me cool and comfortable. AZ is a very dry state and the cold steam is also beneficial.

it does cool in small areas , I used ice cubes in it for even cooler impact.....also would be great in winter to add humidity to dry Air!

I used this product in the night. It's help keep the room cool and relaxing. I can sleep peacefully.

Super easy to set up, just fill with cold water, put the top on and go. A very small hole in the middle of the fan is the only part that actually blows cold air. Otherwise, it's just a fan. There's 3 fan settings and 2 cold settings (the little hole blows out more moist cold air when on.) There's a cool blue light around the bottom which is very pretty and lights up the room a bit like a fairly big night light. I only use it if I'm not sleeping. I have a lot of fan noise in my room to sleep, and can still hear the trickling of the water, so if you want silence and a trickling stream sound bothers you, look elsewhere. i like a lot of white noise when i sleep, but I could still do without the trickling. The water will only last <8 hours on the low setting, so way less on high. When the water runs out it converts to fan only. The higher the setting for fan alone or with water, the more noise it makes, and it's not a white noise i enjoy, so I'm glad my other fan drowns it out (except the trickling.) You need to clean it once in awhile, but nothing like a humidifier. I have it about 8 feet away from me, on both low settings, and I can feel it. It's even a little cold through the little hole. Pretty good for $30. I MIGHT give it 5* if it didn't make so much noise I don't enjoy. I'd love to put the fan on the 2nd or 3rd higher setting... my bedroom is very hot.

It cools your skin… not the room. It's great as a personal fan/cooler near your bed. And I love that blue light at the base. Makes a great night light!

It could give out little bit more cooler air then it does otherwise that does work great it would be better for camping.
