Air Hogs, Thunder Trax RC Vehicle, 2.4 GHZ

My 12 year old wanted this for his birthday and it is awesome! Surprisingly fast and goes on grass, gravel, over water hoses and right into the pool. The first time I saw him driving it into the pool, I thought it was an accident, but you drive it right over the edge and into the pool and then you transform it while it's touching the water. He's been driving it everywhere for a week now and it works great. Only downside is that it takes about 50minutes to charge and it only drives 7 minutes per charge, but if you have other RC vehicles you already know that this is not uncommon.

It's a great toy for a 6 year old boy because it's a car that can also go into water and turn into a boat. Keeps their attention and distracts him for a while.

Every year I search for a Christmas toy for my husband. This year we had to set a timer so Grandpa, granddaughter (10), and grandson (4) would each get equal time with the Thunder Trax vehicle. Even the 4-year old could do cookies on the carpet and hardwood floor! Worked great in 1 to 2 inches of snow, but in 6+ inches the track buried itself. Excited to see how it's going to do on the lake--another reason for Spring to get here!

Toy is fast. Controls work pretty well. Transition from Tank to a Ship in the tub was a little jerky at times but it make the change eventually. Battery doesn't seem to last too long in the tank/boat unit so fun time is somewhat limited. All in all it does what is supposed to and provides fun and entertainment. For the price I guess it is worth it, but maybe with this being the main gift for the occasion and then other less expensive gifts to pad out the event. It isn't that that great for the price to just be an additional gift you toss in to make little Johnny/Suzie happy.

I'm done with Air Hogs. I bought this for my sons birthday. It stopped working with in an hour. One of the tracks stopped moving. Walmart sent me a replacement and it's working fine so far knock on wood. I contacted air hogs and they could not send me a replacement of the same toy. Instead they sent me a video drone. That stopped working within an hour one of the propellers stop spinning. Beware of air hog I have bought probably four or five of them different products and they are all junk. Too much money for the quality of product.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my 6 years old son. It worked for a day or two but after that, the left wheels stopped moving. The toy also makes a very clunky sound. I returned it back and did not risk buying another one.

We ordered online for store pickup. The box was perfectly sealed from the factory, and missing the remote control. Can u imagine how disappointed our 5 year old grandson was on Christmas?????? This was the only thing he asked for. Boo

My son wanted this so bad for his 7th birthday. It broke after only 2 days! The one track just stopped working. I was watched him every time he used it to make sure he wasn't abusing it. He was driving it through grass and it just stopped. Not sure if I'll ever spend this kind of money on an Air Hogs product again.
