The Airbake Large Natural Cookie sheet is exactly like the ones I purchased over 20 years ago that are still in perfect shape, I was very happy to find them again. If you do much baking you will find these insulated sheets very helpful to avoid dark bottoms on your cookies and loaves of bread. My Sheet pans have never warped and are very easy to clean. I think they are a great assist to my baking, try them, you will like them.
Looked great online but when I added to cart and checked out, it showed me having to go to a Walmart 40 miles away. I have always picked up at my home store 7 miles away.
I was looking for an insulated cookie sheet that wasn't coated. The coated surfaces that I have purchased were scratched badly within 3 bakings ...and that was with trying to be extra careful with them! ( They were returned). A high percentage of cookie sheets are coated, making my preferred sheets hard to find. Its very important to me to have the insulated sheet so for me to find both preferables in one sheet makes me happy. I love the sheets and recommend them. Most times I use parchment paper on the cookie sheets so I can slide the paper and cookies onto a cool surface , to stop the cooking. No trying to remove cookies that will fall apart when still hot. Remember not to soak insulated sheets....
My mother had an airbake for years and years... and the only thing she ever told me was to NOT submerge it in water. I have since gotten my own airbake, and LOVE it. It does say not to use in the dishwasher or submerge in water because it has an empty space between the 2 layers. If water (somehow) enters this layer and cannot escape, the baking would not be even. While this could cause some issue with people on washing, the nonstick is wonderful and I have never had to actually scrub on mine to get it clean. It generally sponges or wipes off very easy. When you buy one of these, you'll never use another cookie sheet. But remember what my mom always said, "Don't stick that down in the water!!" :)
I'm a chef and I absolutely love this pan, cookies come out of the oven with perfection. It's just a awesome pan..
I love Airbake cookie sheets and Airbake cake pans! Now I only use Airbake pans. Just be careful not to submerse in water.
My daughter will be thrilled.
Heavy duty, my favorite cookie sheet and perfect for scooping up your pizza out of the oven.
I had one of these pans and it was expensive. When I went to buy another one I was delighted by the price! Great cookie sheet!
I have used these on a weekly basis over the years for baking rice flour buns and rolls. These buns are difficult to get a good top crust on without burning the bottom using a regular sheet. I have several including one that is at least 10 years old. It is a bit crusty but in great shape. They are not indestructible. They make poor cutting boards (duh). I got in a hurry and sprayed one down with cold water when it was hot from the oven - it warped. That is a listed no-no in the use instructions, so my bad. They are not for every cookie baking application. Some cookies you just have to get them hot on the bottom with a regular sheet so they melt and caramelize.
