AIRCARE H12600 Whole-House Console-Style Evaporative Humidifier, Copper Night

I had one before I had the house fire. I just had to get another one. It is quiet and I no longer have static electricity. You don't realize the amount of humidity that is put into the air because of the house being so dry. I need to fill the water container every other day. I like it very much.

I live in Az with extreme dry air and at first I had to keep filling up the 5 gallon jug that goes in the machine for obvious reasons "Dry Air" after a day I didn't have to fill it up multiple times a day!! It has knocked down the electrical static in my home. I would recommend this item to anyone. It's small enough I put it in the hall between my entrance room and living leading to the guest bedroom and bathroom. It's not that loud I can watch tv at normal level and not have to turn up the volume. I love that you can set your humidity level you want. I filter is HUGE and I would recommend buying an extra one for future use and the solution to help mildew/slime growing in the machine.

The air car humidifier was a little bit of challenge to put together, but once we got into the process, it was fine. Doing the job we wanted ( We have a wood burning stove) and was in need of a new humidifier. Recommend it highly.

This is a difficult review to make. YES, this humidifier is effective, quiet (on the low speed), and does the job. HOWEVER, I am having trouble getting used to the "gurgling sound" of the water struggling to get out of the fill bottle. About every 5 minutes or so, you hear this gurgling sound for a few seconds, and then we're good - for another 5 minutes. I have spoken with the tech at the company and she said that "you can't change that". I tried to loosen the fill cap on the bottle to let some air in and FLOODED MY FLOOR. So, don't do that. I have considered returning the item but will try to get used to gurgling in my living room first! If this unit is placed out of earshot, then I think you'll like it.

Working well for us we have to fill it everyday.

It was good until it's start leaking under, and i find tiny line under right next to water low mechanical sensor . So plastic is low quality.

The humidifier works. Contact customer service response! Below. The main issue is the motor mount is not strong enough. I think the weight of the motor fracture the motor mount from the shipping process. For the amount of components and construction this product is overpriced. This humidifier is a bin with a fan on top basically. Refused to go through a long process described from netsaver costumers service. Improvised and repaired the motor mount with some zipper ties.
