Okay. This is going to be a great addition and upgrade for us. But- fair warning- this is a much more involved installation project than a regular window unit ac but just a bit less than a full central air. Fortunately, I'm pretty handy and have experience with electrical work as I will need to run a new 230 line where this is going. I will also have to pick up a mounting shelf for the external half. And then there's the drain ports and drilling a hole to run all the insulated Freon copper lines and wires and drain lines outside. But, several of our neighbors have been converting over to these so I do have access experienced advice and help. They run nice and quiet and cool like crazy, and having heat built in doesn't hurt either. The remote has all the control functions including programming and timers and “I feel” function which runs the thermostat from the remote sensor itself instead of on the unit. That's great if you're more concerned about the specific comfort of an area away from the unit. Also- the app has pretty much all of the same functional access. I'm just getting everything planned, set up and ready to go !

exactly what i wanted for the garage. I received this 2 box unit and followed the instructions to install it. Great unit and powerful for our 3 car garage to cool it down in the hot Arizona summers, great buy and really happy with this purchase

This thing blows!! Normally that would be a negative thing, but not in this case. I was between this unit and another and decided on this one based off of the reviews stating it cooled more sq footage than advertised. I agree 100%! On high, I can feel it cooling clear into my kitchen. No other AC unit has been able to cool so well and this is my third one. From now on I'll stick with this brand. Only odd thing is, the temperature is in Celsius and nowhere in the description or the reviews does it state that. It doesn't take from how well the unit works, just an FYI when you see numbers like 13 and 22 as you're going up and down. Don't let that quirk stop you from buying this!

I've never had Emily – split before, but based on this purchase, I think this may be the only air conditioner I buy from now on, including one for my home. I bought this for my 400 square-foot cabin and immediately the unit cooled the place down. It is quiet, and works great. I haven't received my electric bill yet this month so I'm not sure about the efficiency. I paid $500 to have it installed because I didn't think I could do it myself. Shipping was quick. All in all a great value for the money. Couldn't be happier.

Works great has turbo mode and you can turn the light off at night, so it doesn't bother you. It's very quiet no comparison to the window unit. Would buy again.

Akonyon 5500 AC unit is exactly what I needed up in my bonus room. The room is connected to the central AC system, but it was always much warmer than the rest of the house. This AC keeps the room cool by complimenting the main AC system. Works great.

This unit was a replacement for another unit that was a little bigger BTU wise, but packs a punch and is mis-advertised for the cooling power it actually delivers. If my other air conditioner goes out I'll be buying another one of these. The fact that I don't need to run a hose or empty a drip pan was a killer seller. Easy set up, quiet and so far very effecient. I highly recommend...

This is a small portable AC that performs as expected. Needed something for a small office and this unit has worked effectively and efficiently in the selected area.

Cool’s bedroom off perfectly. Has a sleep feature that I love. The only thing I cannot figure out how to change it from Celsius to Fahrenheit. Well worth the money.
