Aire Max 9000 BTU (14000 BTU ASHRAE) Portable Air Conditioner with Remote Control, Up to 500 Sq. ft., APE514C

So far, I love it. Came in earlier than expected and blows out beyond cold! We have no central AC so the living room gets pretty hot, with this thing going we actually need blankets! Easy to set up, haven't had to drain it yet, only this is it didn't come with the drain hose? Not that I can tell anyways. So far five stars, eager to see how it works when Texas summer peaks!

I purchased this portable ac unit for my 12' x 12' bedroom. I opened the box all contents were inside and within 5 minutes I had it installed and running. It instantly blew out cold air and cooled the room down from 79 degrees to 70 degrees in 20 minutes. For the most part I find it quieter than ANY window air conditioner or my Black and decker 14000 btu unit which cools both my living room and kitchen. The cooling capacities of the Aire Max span beyond the 12' x 12' bedroom and into the adjacent 10' x 12' bedroom keeping it comfortable too. This unit cools the west end of my home with no issues very satisfied with it. I am a 60 year old woman and found it to be an exceptionally easy unit to move, set up and operate. All good here!

After purchasing this AC and seeing how well it worked for us we ended up buying two more. This model works better than the bigger name brand we bought last year. Having the remote is very convenient, it puts out cold air fast and we easily roll it room to room without the hose falling off. It fits in our windows tight and doesn't fall out.

i live in Florida where it gets in the v90 to 100 degree weather in the summer months i dont have a/c in the room i rent i bought this unit and now i can stay and sleep without sweating this a/c works great at keeping me comfortable i Higley recommend getting one its well worth the investment

I bought 2 of these air conditioners last spring when I moved into a 2-bedroom apartment. They cool the rooms great! There are kinda loud when they are running, but I like white noise when I sleep. I just bought my 3rd one today, as my roommate also needs an air conditioner! I highly recommend this product!

Ive had this for a little over a week and I set it to as cold as it goes 62. And the temp on the unit will not go below 78 degrees. Im going to return this, its like having a $340 fan.

How long is the warranty on this? I didn't even have it for a to year yet and i haven't used in the last 6 months. It's hot enough to use again and now it's only blowing out warm air, it's like it's only working as a fan. It's 85 degrees in here and my $350 ac unit won't change the temperature. I'm really annoyed and hot. It worked pretty good the first few months I used it. Occasionally it wouldn't cool down a room but it would always go right back to normal.

This A.C unit although it is very loud worked really well the first month I had it. I have a 200 sq ft room and it cooled it down after about 30 minutes. About 1 month after purchase it is not working effectively at all. If its 85 degrees Fahrenheit on the thermostat it goes down like 2 degrees. When I first had it it would go down at least 7 to 8 degrees. I believe where the deception is with wal mart is the day you get the unit they are asking you for a review without having fully tested the product. Im warning all buyers to test this machine for at least 2 months before giving it a review and you will likely give it the same 1 star rating Im giving it. I will be returning it if possible. There are other portable A.C brands that are much quieter at the same price and will work for years... The Hisense brand sold at Lowes is much quieter and works and you don't have to preorder online. You can just walk in and pick up. I hope they don't remove my review of this product. I believe Im the first person to rate it negatively.

install was hard and still does not work. Having a hard time returning the thing.

The worst thing I ever purchased. I placed the order 8 days before and got today. but this thing is nothing but a complete wastage . last 8 hours I keep this air conditioner open and nothing changes. No cool air only fan is working. I read the user manual again and again and followed every single method they said but still nothing change. No cool air only fan is working. It wastes my time my money and my energy. I will not buy anything from this brand again. And no one should try an unknown brand like this. I believe all the good reviews were posted by owner himself. I don't recommend this product and if anyone wishes to waste money can go for it. believe me or not is up to you.
