I use this to pump up my kite surfing kite. It requires 6-10spi and this pump delivers. The double pump action is great and inflates quick. Also i pump up on the beach with sand blowing everywhere, the pump doesn't get clogged and works great. If you buy a pump from a boat shop or kite shop they are 3x the price. My friend has one and the only difference is he paid $40 for it and a brand logo sticker on the exact same pump. Go walmart.
This pumps attachments and functionality are superb !! Wide body allows more air and it pumps well in both directions. The attachments on a string to prevent loss and work for alot of purposes. Solid plastic and with any luck will last a while. Great for fitting with Airhead Kayaks.
I loved the logo with the little face blowing his top! Worked great
excellent
I purchased this to re-inflate the tubes on an inflatable swimming pool while it was full of water. My electric air pump could not overcome the back pressure cause by the water but this one works great for this purpose. I also liked the single or dual action pump feature.
This is a great pump, works very well. I use it to top off my float tube after inflating with an electric pump, but I have inflated it with just this pump and it did it very fast. It is very lightweight and fits in my boat bag. Bottom line is , I think it is a great value for the money.
I usually like to inflate our towable before we leave home for the lake, but we were driving 200 miles to get to Lake Mojave on this trip. I didn't know what would be available for power when I got there, so I decided to try this Airhead hand pump. Great! I've never seen a hand pump move this volume of air before. It inflates on both the up and down stroke. Our big "Kid Kooper" towable was up and ready in less than 10 minutes. I wouldn't want to have to do it this way every time, but this is a great alternative to the electric/12v pumps if a power source isn't available.
Bought this as a backup pump for my air mattress on a camping trip. Came in handy and is very useful for topping off inflatables. I tried to use it by itself to fully inflate an air mattress but was tired from pumping after getting it 1/4 inflated. I'm sure you could do it, but it would just take some time. However for firming up my air mattress a day or two later it works great. Would be great for small pool rafts/floaties, but can put out enough PSI's to top off large mattresses/kayaks etc.
I was just looking for a simple, non-electric pump to inflate my air mattress on a camping trip and this pump served my needs well. it comes with several nozzles to fit different types of things you might want to inflate, including one that fit my air mattress. the adjustable setting so it inflates on both the down and upward stroke is a nice feature. It didn't take long at all or much effort to inflate a single sized air mattress. Overall, if you're looking for simple and economical this pump does the trick.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! The pump worked well for one season. It does not now pump air or suck air out. Nothing is broken - there is no obvious reason why it should not work. I called customer service - the agent was not interested in helping and kept repeating that we only have a one year warranty, and that other people had no problems with their pumps which last for years. I said then we got a lemon and asked if she could help us out. She went back the "we only have a one year warranty" mantra. She was cold as ice, no empathy and repeating her lines like a robot. So, don,t expect any help if you end up with a bad pump - since they are made in China I am sure there will be a few that are bad.
