AIRHEAD Self Center Tow Harness, Yellow, 12 FT

Tried out my new harness last weekend. Let me tell you that the pulley system works great. Very smooth on turns and does not get caught up going into and coming out of turns. Only prob for me is that I bought a 12ft version since there is no smaller version available. I have a small boat so a 6' - 8' ft harness would have been much better. I did however, shorten the length of the rope a few feet by knotting the rope as close to the hooks as possible. Shorter length seems to work much better for me that way by keeping the rope out of the water. Also, now using the BOB to help keep the rope out of the water.

Works better than I thought it would. Stays away from the outboard, the pulley system helps maintain pressure on the rope when changing directions.

The hooks were a little smaller than the harness I was replacing so I had to cut the hooks off the old harness and put those on first.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This heavy duty durable tow rope can be used for a multitude of purposes. It has a nice grip at the end, making it easy to hold onto or attach to some thing without causing rope burn. The rope itself is very strong and no signs of breaking. To use it for its normal function it would be very easy with the two securing clasps on one end and then the rope tie off on the other. The self centering factor works amazing as demonstrated, and would definitely be efficient and towing a boat in the water.. it's always good to have a good tow rope and this is one that will last a long while!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this two months it's strong fast and effective easy to use , tangle free , no frays or loose lines . Durable. Good quality. As well as very affordable and easy to find . I will definitely be sticking with this brand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was so well made. It's heavy duty and confident that this will not break when it is used. Very tough and thick rope. I wanted the kids to have a smooth ride and this kept them centered so the ride wasn't too wild. We had a lot of fun and this helped give us a safe, good time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great tool for boating and even for tubing we use this to clip our tubs together and they stay centered without one overtaking the other. It's perfect for the boat and tubing off the boat. I'm not sure why we never had one before. Great quality!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I ordered this honestly because I thought I'd use my SUV to tow some stuff but soon found out it doesn't tow much so I can't hook anything to it. I will put this up for when I get a stronger truck. It's good quality and looks sturdy.

Decent product that almost lives up to it's claim. It is supposed to float and eliminate the possibility of the line becoming entangled in the prop. I have had it entangled in my outboard prop a couple of times...no big deal really, just be aware it could still happen. When another boats wake or winds push the boat backwards, the floating line can still "sink" slightly and get caught in the prop. The only portion that "floats" is the "attaching portion" to the main tow line hook. Regardless, I would buy another if needed.

I bought this harness for the back our deck boat. It's made from good quality parts. The length was almost twice as long as needed. If I used it as is, it would get caught in the prop. I was able to untie one side and shorten the length. Instructions would has been nice. Still a good product !
