Airo Comfort 21-Inch Electric Fireplace Log Heater – Realistic Flame Fireplace Insert with Remote Control

The reason for my purchase was mainly the desire to bring some life to the unused fireplace in my apartment. As much as I enjoy burning logs, I'd prefer my living spaces to not smell like smoke. This heater provides just that, it creates a realistic fire effect which can stay on, with or without the heater function being turned on. This makes it great for display purposes. The heating function itself works well but given my apartment's layout and high ceilings, it appears to work best within a couple feet, which is not optimal in my case. The power cord could be manipulated enough to fit along the corners of the fireplace floor, cable management will be different for others but I had to use an extension cord (outside of the fireplace) to reach the power outlet. Overall I am happy with this purchase and would recommend it for those interested in bringing that cozy fireplace vibe without the smell/ smoke.

Wow! Have never installed anything that easy. Literally took it out of the box, placed it in the fireplace, plugged it in and Voila! Flames and heat! It looks great! Love that there are 5 brightness levels for flames. The heater works well also. Pretty neat! We have no burn days all the time, so this lets us use our fireplace to set a cozy mood. Just awesome!

Just rec'd and inserted into fireplace. Looks great and love how the base behind grill front glows like embers. Very effective. Nothing to put together. Very handy to have a remote included. Enjoy a variety of settings for flame & heat output. Fairly quiet with heat setting. Totally quiet if not using heat setting.

Purchased but put inside a fireplace I built myself. It's perfect. Looks so real!

I bought a house with a outlet where the grate and logs should be. I could not find the right way to complete the opening till I got this set. Unit works great and looks better than I had hoped. So all around a big win.

Straight from the box into setting and the heat is on point. The look is great. Wish the cord was longer or at least indicate in description location or side cord is on.

Fireplace Log Heater FP201R This product heats up my living room on those extremely cold days. Very efficient and easy to use. I have been wanting one of these for years and my daughter got this for me for Christmas. Extremely pleased.

Easy set up, has remote option so you don't even need to get off the couch, and looks very realistic!

While we enjoy the flame and heat coming from the unit, it would be a much better product if: (1) the heating element were variable (low/high), and (2) it wouldn't take 30 seconds to shut off. In these regards, our previous DuraFlame was a superior product (albeit slightly more expensive).

Satisfied with the heater. Nice addition to my fireplace that I can't use anymore. Only complaint is I wish it would blow heat into the room harder. It barely blows. Ambience is good though.
