Airo Portable Air Conditioner 12000 BTU, Standing AC Unit with DIY Window Kit

it's trying really hard to cool off RV but it's super hot and humid so having to empty drain bucket frequently...

This unit may work to cool a small bedroom with the door shut, but it can't cool much more than a few feet in front of it. In any other room. If you live in FL, the venting just pulls hot air into your other rooms and the vent let's in a ton of humidity. It's not really the machine's fault, it just doesn't work well in South Florida in the Summer to help when your AC dies and you are waiting for a new one to be installed.

This air conditioner does cool my bedroom, when it wants to. I have a separate thermometer in the room, so I can confirm what my senses tell me - the AC doesn't come on when it should. I can set it to 72 and later find the room temp at 77 and it's not running. Conversely, if I set it to 71, it will cool the room to 68 (too cold) and still be running. The thermostat just isn't sensitive enough. Also, the lights on the temperature display are already starting to fail after a few months of use. (Look at the bottom half of the 7.)

At best it can cool a 200 sq ft room when it's 80-85 outside. It's definitely not quiet either. Beware of fake reviews claiming it can cool large rooms in high heat

The air flow just wasn't adequate and the projection couldn't be adjusted like we wanted. Its still in our home and we continue to move it from room to room to see if it works better in one place than the other. Not yet. Disappointed.

The product information in the description and in included instructions is incorrect. It states that it fits windows 16.7 inches plus. This is not accurate, the window piece is 26.7 inches. I called the 1-800 number provided in the instructions, just goes to a voicemail and no one returns your call. Sent an email, no response. There is apparently no customer service if you have a problem and the product information is flat out wrong.

Took forever for 2 men put together. They got everything together and installed turned it on with the remote that came with it and a LOUD clanging noise. Turned the remote off. Turned it on the unit and it didn't clang. This is junk to be doing this! I'm also concerned of a fire with it. Will not buy another one.

If you live in Las Vegas, this portable A/C does not work when the outdoor temperature is above 100 degrees. We purchased this 2 months ago for our stand alone casita because the A/C went out. It worked ok, until it was really needed. The indoor temperature starts off each morning around 78 degrees and by 4pm the indoor temperature is 94 degrees. This portable A/C is not cooling the room, the temperature only increases throughout the day. It doesn't even cool the room down over night when the outside temperature is lower. You can only feel the cold air coming out of the unit if you are standing directly in front of it. Our casita is only 240 square feet.

Did not like it at all. Did not even cold the room . It was more like a cool fan. I had to go get a window AC unit because this thing didn't do its job. I'm just sad because I ripped the box and now I can't even return it.

Spent a lot of money for this and came defective. The unit did not get cold at all. Walmart refused to refund. Don’t waist ur money
