Worked great then seemed to lack energy. We figured out you have to take apart where filter is to clean it out. Would be helpful if it came with instructions

works great with or without the attachable fountain heads. When used in a birdbath the birds like it without the fountain heads because they don't want to get wet . It makes a great 3 to 4 inch solid stream without the head

The unit this replaced had an adjustable shutter to control the rate water enters the pump. This allowed you to regulate how high the fountain water would be expelled. This was a nice feature if you live in a windy area where water gets blown away and does not return to the bird bath.

Problem: This item does not have an On/ Off switch. Once the sun hits it starts running nonstop. It starts even if it's not in water. You have to place something over it to block the sun if you decide to turn it off.

seems to only work when in direct sun. maybe i misunderstood,but i thought it would also charge in direct sun so that it would work for awhile in the shade too.

Needs to be in direct sunlight to work.The shadier the area that your birdbath is in,the lower the spray output.Not a fortune, and could still be useful in a more open area.

Only worked in 100% direct sunlight and even then it was sporadic. Water stream was no more than 2 inches high at the fountains peak functioning. I'm highly disappointed

the product doesn't work as advertised. The fountain sprays the water out of a bird bath within minutes %26 even with the straw plastic stabilizers that you put around it which the instructions don't tell you about..had to ask on an online chat where people were complaining about the product. The only way you can use the product is if you just use the bubbler, the other attachments are useless. Full blazing sun is the only way it works..otherwise it just spits. Waste of money.

The solar is so poor that walking by the fountain so that the sun is very temporarily blocked will stop the fountain. So will a passing cloud. If the fountain is not in direct sunlight it will not work. It's impossible to find a place to put the fountain because the sunlight will always change and without strong sunlight the fountain won't work. I am forced to return it.

You must remember to fill the foundation with water when it's low. Must be facing sun all the time or it will not work. Will not work on cloudy days.
