The product was exactly as I expected. It is not a luxury item, and it is not cheap. It is well made, but not as robust as some others might be. It is in a unique product segment and hard to compare with other items. It sounds far better than most Bluetooth speakers in its price range, which is its primary function for me. However, for a little more money there are much more durable bluetooths speakers, and for much more money, better sounding ones. This product hit the sweet spot for me for sound quality and portability, and i love the extra functionality and retro look.

This is 16Lbs , and that's without (8) D size batteries installed. But that is what you get with a properly designed speaker system. It does utilize an (unadvertised) anti skip feature in the CD player. This thing has real silk dome tweeters, 5-1/2" woofers with large magnets, left and right speakers are internally sealed off from the main unit and have actual bass reflex ports tuned to around 55Hz, CD7379CZ class AB amp chip rated 38w/ch. Wish it used a class D amp for better efficiency. This is still loud and does it cleanly. I would definitely recommend lithium rechargeable D batteries for this or a custom made pack to fit in the battery compartment, if you want to listen in the go.

Just got this today, so I haven't been able to try all the features out yet! Just playing CD's . OMGOSH!!!! This boomer is absolutely AWESOME. I don't know how the sound could get any better. My uncle who is into music BIG TIME, said to always buy AIWA. Everything sounds so Rich, sharp and clear. I am totally a happy camper! If you're looking for an AMAZING BOOM BOX, stop looking and buy this one! No remote control, but no problem. I highly recommend this AIWA Boom Box! Love the black and gold color!

Love the retro look and the capability of playing CDs and cassette radio and Bluetooth. The only thing that is missing is an internal rechargeable yes you can install eight double D batteries for on the Go The part that I love the most is my 11-year-old daughter is going to be able to do her own mixtapes

This boom box is everything I wanted since I was a kid but now I have adult money and can get what I couldn't have. So nostalgic. The cassette player is the reason why I bought it and it does not disappoint. I recommend it to anyone that wants to have a good quality product.

Definitely a throw back as I had an Aiwa stereo in my car in the 80's and always loved their quality! Recently while we were moving I came across some old favorite music but didn't have a way to play it, so this is perfect! Can play my old stuff AND my new stuff!

This is an amazing throw back especially for the price! Easily connects with bluetooth, super loud and then has a working CD player and even tape player. The tape player allows for fast forward and quick pause, and the CD has no skip technology - so you can actually walk around with it! In our case we put it in a wagon during our evening walk. It got the neighborhood talking - and folks were asking where we got it! Love it!

I love how this hekps bring back so many memories. Now can play old cassettes and cds from when we were younger. The boombox is super cute with its vibrant color too. Lots of fun!

Super cool retro player, finally have a way to play my old cds and tapes! My kids think this is the coolest thing and love learning how to use it. Love the unique color as well!

It has great sound and features which I haven't tried them all yet but the radio and Bluetooth work very well. It has a lot of power with the volume and the frequency response songs great to me. You notice the background sounds of a song that you might hear in headphones but not normally with a stereo system through speakers. Unfortunately my unit came with blemishes that make me think it's been used. There's an annoying scratch on the front and a probable paint blemish on the top. I've also had some problems with the right side VU meter. It doesn't move all the time when stereo music is first played. A tap is occasionally needed to get it moving again. I keep wondering if I should have it exchanged for an unblemished unit with a VU meter that works automatically as it should? I'm concerned about the selector switches with longevity. I don't know why they couldn't incorporate a digital display of the radio frequency with the dial for optimum accuracy and easier tuning in quickly to a known station. If you are going for all the bells and whistles you might as well include that and better selector switches. I would prefer round selector switches to the slide type they used. It's easy to bypass the selection you are going for. Like the power off.
