I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. The Great Value Coated Plates are very sturdy. They do tend to stick together a little so you have to make sure you don't have more than one but that's no big deal. These plates hold a lot without drooping and food doesn't soak through. I definitely recommend. I will definitely be buying more of these, as they hold up very well.

The great value coded paper plates are surprisingly very durable and strong, and my food didn't leak through it either. These paper plates were really a great value and that of great quality too. I used these plates to serve dinner at a family event. Our guests loaded their plates up and no one experienced any spills or leaking with these plates. I do like the coating on the plates which prevents the food from soaking throughout the underside of the plates. I also like that these plates are extremely budget friendly. I would highly recommend these plates to anyone who would has a need for disposable plates or anyone who likes to casually entertain but doesn't want to do a lot of dishes.

These plates are coated, making them stronger and leakproof. They are microwave safe and grease resistant. They are made in the U.S.A. I use these plates for just about anything. They are good for foods with sauces or liquids, such as coleslaw or macaroni salad. No leaks or soggy paper plates that are disintegrating as the liquids seep into them. I have used them for meats that needed to be cut with a steak knife, without puncturing the plates or causing holes or leaks. They are sturdy enough and easy to carry without them collapsing in your hand from the weight of the food. These plates are a great value for picnics or family barbeques. They are also just great for everyday use, without breaking the bank. I would recommend this product to anyone.

These plates are strong and will not fold when lifting it with 1 hand. I use these when I make quick meals and snacks. The size of plate are are just right. Definitely would recommend them.

I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. I was unsure what to expect with them being "coated" plates, but I expected some sort of coating on the top to prevent liquids from soaking through. What I expected was pretty much what I got. These aren't very thick or structured so I don't think they would do well if you have a full plate and/or heavier food items to plate. So far I've used mine for heated up leftovers like hamburger, corn, potatoes, and while it did fairly well I didn't feel comfortable holding it from the edge while carrying, I placed my hand underneath in the center to support. I've used these for snacks (cookies, chips, crackers, etc) and it was great for that without any issue. Overall I think this is a pretty good product, I'd just recommend being mindful of what you're using it for. Don't expect one plate to carry a heavy meal or you may be cleaning up a mess.

My food did not soak through because they are coated and grease resistant. They are safe to use in the microwave. These plates are great for my household. My family is always in and out of the kitchen all day and night grabbing something to eat and snack on. These disposable plates saves time on washing dishes. I used the plates with a ziti and meat sauce and had no problem with the sauce and grease leaking through. We even use it in the microwave to heat up leftovers the next day and still no leakage. The only thing I recommend is that you have to use two hands to support the plate if your food is heavy. I would recommend these plates for all families that want to save time washing dishes. They are great for picnics and parties too. These plates will be my family go to product from now on.

I used the plate for my dinner of rice, sweet Thai chili chicken and broccoli and the plate while it was thin still held up pretty good, the coating held up with the chicken and the sauce. Because they were a little thin I did use a second one underneath it but I don't think it was necessary. It also was fine in the microwave as well. I would recommend these paper plates for any person looking for a good quality paper product to cut back on dishes!

I had steak with juice, potatoes, and cauliflower on the plate that I was trying. It definitely held up to the test of being sturdy enough and did not allow anything to fall off even though I was using one hand for it. The only reason I took a star off was because of the coating. I do not like things that are coating with petroleum based items.

tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. I was fortunate enough to try Great Value Coated Disposable Plates 9 in variety in 70 ct. The following is my experience with the plates. In general, the size is nice or rather would have been if the majority of the plate wasn't composed of slightly angled walls, which in my personal opinion, take away from the little support the plates actually possess. If the plates were thicker this would be less of an issue but unfortunately they are so thin that they do no justice to provide support. This being so, plates themselves can barely hold anything before slanting and folding. Moreover, little moisture causes material to become impacted. Therefore to avoid food potentially falling from plate, it is best to double or even triple up—an idea that is wasteful. Stated issues leads me to my next topic: coating. In my mind, a coat essentially seals a product but I do not feel this said "coat" provides much resistance but at least enough that transfer of say, grease, is minimal. Aside the general aspect of size being decent, positives run short for the product. Though count is nice, I fail to find value if numerous plates are needed at once. Plates are too thin and have very little support, being more fit for a snack than a meal and coating is minimal. Ultimately, I would only recommend plates for snacks and small portions and those that don't mind the idea of using numerous plates at a time.
