perfect for reupholstering
this is exactly what I was looking for to reupholster a couch. it was wide enough to cover each part of the couch with one piece and it thickens some once out of the box.

It's not bad for the price.
It's not the best quality Dacron for Upholstery needs, however it's very inexpensive and is bonded at least. Shipping is very slow, as in it is coming off of a shipping container from China. The Dacron worked for this particular job, but I would never use it for high end pieces.

Not as good as I expected, but it did the job
I had never purchased upholstery-grade batting before, so I assumed it would be denser than the equivalent thickness for quilting. That was not the case, which is why I only gave it 3 stars. The failure is probably only in my opinion, not the product, but I can't be sure, hence three stars. Luckily I only needed it to cover an area 8"x24", so I just kept folding it over, them trimmed down as necessary and inserted it into the foot rest of my recliner. Almost-new feeling recliner!

Disappointed
Says it 1/2" more like compressed 1/4". Very thin cheap. Will be returning.
