Akai Professional MPK Mini Play - USB MIDI Keyboard Controller with a Built-in Speaker and 25 Mini Keys

I honestly didn't know wheat this was when I bought it. It was on my nephews wish list. Gave it to him for his birthday and he absolutely loved it! He was trying to show me some of the features and it looks like it can do a lot. It's not just a keyboard but a drum set iPhone. There seem to be a huge amount he could do with this!

Wow. This keyboard is amazing. It's a bit smaller than other keyboards I seen that can do all the same things but I like small. It fits perfectly on your lap. It works with batteries or you can plug it in with a USB cord that it comes with. It also connects to my computer studio system. There's so many features to this keyboard I haven't even figured them all out yet. I do know it comes with 128 different sounds on the keyboard including piano, drums, applause, choir, and all the instruments you can think of clarinet, french horn, trumpet ect. It has a drum pad a beat maker all kinds of stuff you can do with this. The only negative thing I would say about it is that the volume was very low not sure if that was because I was using a USB cord instead of batteries don't know if it charges but I will find out soon.

Got this for my 13 year old daughter and let me tell you she has already learned so much with this unique instrument! I am very happy with this item, the quality is a+++!! She can plug her headset right into it and I don't have to hear it either! It's awesome! Being mini she can take it on road trips too! All around great product!

The mpk mini play piano is a great tool for beginners wanting to learn how to play the piano it includes 128 built in sound features that comes with letting you change the sound that you can make by clicking the tiles and another 10 on the drum setting the piano can turn the octaves lower or higher and a arpeggiator so you can distort the sound it can be used with 3 aa batteries or by being connected to it's music software the piano also includes its own software for download to adjust settings to the piano and apply the changes and 8 unique pads that include sounds of drums and can be used to make different drum sounds and put your favorite built in sounds in a shortcut. Great product and fun to use! Highly recommend it.

This little keyboard is packed with tons of great options and sounds. It has drum pads and over 100 different sound effects. The volume get loud and still has great quality. My boys both love this to travel with and play in their rooms quietly. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a portable all in one keyboard grownup or youth musician!!! I'm not a professional musician but I love writing songs and music has always been a passion of mine. This Akai Professional MPK Mini Play Controller is a cool little thing! I love the compact design. I can easily take it with me anywhere. It has so many awesome features including 8 drum pads that are backlit, 128 different instrument sounds, and 23 mini keys. I can This controller runs on batteries and a USB cord. The only complaint I have is the built-in speaker is really quiet. That may be not a bad thing for others in the room. It does have an option for connecting headphones and that makes the sound much better. I am overall pleased with the design and how well I can customize my music with this Akai Professional MPK Mini Play Controller.

This Akai Professional MPK Mini Play, USB MIDI Keyboard Controller is a nice keyboard. It's hard to set up on a Windows PC, though. The keys are a little stiff but responsive. The built in speaker is horrible but sounds okay plugged in. We found a case for it online for $20. My husband was really excited about this keyboard and I'm sure he will have a lot of fun with it.

We were excited about getting this lil Mini keyboard it's very nice looking But not what I expected the volume Is so low we were like is this thing On also one key broke so my grandson Didn't even get to enjoy this keyboard Maybe this one wasn't made well so I honestly cannot give a good review On it.

The keyboard I grew up with in the 90s had a stand and was about 5 feet long. It has AC power you plugged into the wall and it had constant power. The volume knob turned out up loud enough you could hear it across the house. This product, however, has none of these things. If you just put batteries in it you can barely hear it. If you connect it to your laptop the volume can supposedly be raised but you have to mess with some sort of setting and I couldn't figure it out. I don't even understand what MIDI is, let alone how to use it. If you're a professional with this stuff, maybe this could be of use to you, but for your average person just wanting to mess around and make some silly tunes and sick beats, this is not for you.
