Akasha Decorative Brown Stone Granules, 42 oz. Bag

I was shopping for sand for a learning activity for my preschooler. I either had to buy 10 pounds work of sand or children's kinetic sand which wasn't going to work for my activity. I'm so glad I bought this. It's perfect for writing in and will last us a long time for what we are using it for. It's not as fine as sand but close.

What can I say? It's a small bag of pretty sand if you want a texturized sand. It's not fine like the gulf beaches. It was great for the purpose. Not dirty, but sandy, not clay but sand. I used it for a project that I needed sand for. Dirt and clay wouldn't work, sand was perfect.

This worked good for a craft project. will repurchase again

I use it as a doil amendment for both my plants and my succulents. Works well. Doesn't clump together like regular sand. Good size, good texture, Helps prevent soil pancaking.

These sand granules worked perfectly to top off my house plants. They look natural unlike the white decorative sand, and don't discolor when watered.

This is a heavy and course sand that we are using in our bearded dragon environment. It is perfect as it doesn't get all over when he walks through.

this was ground a little finer than I thought it would be, however I still put it on my plants and it seems to have helped a little. I do like it when you water it now You can tell if the ground is still damp with this on top of it.

I bought these for a lab and based on the weight expected a much larger quantity. They are small bags.

I thought this was a big bag of landscape gravel and sand. I had planned to fill two large pots with it. It is the size you would use maybe before a fish tank or aquarium!

Looked like the same size as the other bags I ordered for my yard garden but was not. More toy size with a yard price!
