Akasha Decorative Brown Stone Granules, 42 oz. Bag

Lots of uses for this fine grain sand. iI put in 6" plastic planters one bag each to hold down waterproof rug on back deck ( bought throufg Walmart, live the outdoor waterproof mat/ rugs) in case of wind, storm. Seems to be doing a good job!

This is a small bag of very clean, very coarse grained sand. I appreciate the colors of the source rock used. It looks like beach sand to me. I use this inside a large bowl candle holder I made.

I use it as a doil amendment for both my plants and my succulents. Works well. Doesn't clump together like regular sand. Good size, good texture, Helps prevent soil pancaking.

I was shopping for sand for a learning activity for my preschooler. I either had to buy 10 pounds work of sand or children's kinetic sand which wasn't going to work for my activity. I'm so glad I bought this. It's perfect for writing in and will last us a long time for what we are using it for. It's not as fine as sand but close.

What can I say? It's a small bag of pretty sand if you want a texturized sand. It's not fine like the gulf beaches. It was great for the purpose. Not dirty, but sandy, not clay but sand. I used it for a project that I needed sand for. Dirt and clay wouldn't work, sand was perfect.

used spray glue on old pots and rolled them in the stone stuff to update them ,wife likes the new texted pots

I thought the bag was larger, the picture showed a bigger bag, my bag was 2lbs 10oz and the description said 42 oz bag.

Online this said it was a 42oz bag of sand. But was much less than that.

it's supposed to be 42 oz bags and that's ridiculous because I get cat food bags of the same size and they are 10 times bigger than the sand bag. seriously they should be $3 a piece not nearly $12. will not be buying again.

I thought this was a big bag of landscape gravel and sand. I had planned to fill two large pots with it. It is the size you would use maybe before a fish tank or aquarium!
