These are nicely designed headphones that I find comfortable (my brother didn't like them at all for fit, so try them on first), with some good features. The sound quality is great, the noise cancelling is good, if a little behind brands like sony and bose, and the app has some solid features in the equalizer and the ambient noise inclusion. Now for the bad, the price does not match the product. There are constant audio dropout issues where re-connection is required (even after updating and reinstalling the app), the app sometimes doesn't detect the connected device, microphone is questionable with most people unable to hear me, noise cancelling sometimes struggles (I can still hear the air con), buttons only with no touch inputs and although it is capable of pairing to two devices at the same time this results in more audio dropouts and constant connection issues. The price places this device in the same category of sony WH-1000XM3 and bose quiet comfort and it struggles to compete with features. The audio dropouts definitely make these frustrating and count against it pretty hard.
It was addition to my collection of head phones. I would rate the quality of noise cancellation to the bose quiet comfort II but I find it much harder to use and the quality of sounds is great however as I am always on phones calls I find that the other person can't hear me clearly and I have to disconnect it every time as it gets frustrating. It's great to use when going to the gym as it stays in my head unlike marshalls headphones and the quality of music is much better as well.
I've had this Headset for roughly 5 months now as a bonus with my Note 10+ 5G and absolutely love the sound quality, the weight and battery life however, the durability of them appears to be quite appalling. Through standard daily use i.e: Walking to Work, Working, PC Gaming, Exercising, they have already started to crack along the headrest and the size extender. The paint where the Headrest is, is also starting to bubble and peel. It looks poor and feels cheap now due to these cracks and paint issues. My N700ncs have never been dropped and are cracking as if they are years old when in reality, I got them at the same time I got my Note 10+, in August 2019. I really do love this Headset, but the build quality for the price doesn't seem reasonable. If you like a Headset that will continue to look stylish after long-term use, I unfortunately cannot recommend these as they will dissolve quickly into a cheap and tacky looking device.
Had this for a while. I use it with my Note 10+ but it seems to have connection issues. It just completely goes off while connected through Bluetooth and I have to keep on reconnecting. Don't recommend it at all.
Got these cans free with my Note 10+ and gave my wife my Bose noise cancellers. What a mistaka to maka. These AKGs hardly work. The App was useless as it could rarely find the Cans so I deleted it. Pairing is difficult and once done staying connected is hard and even if connected the music just stops for no reason. Free? I got conned!
SAMSUNG/AKG WONT DO REPAIRS OR ANY SPARE PARTS. My headphones had a broken earmuff, easily a replacement part that slides in place, but samsung will not repair or provide the spare part. "Sorry we don't repair or do any replacement parts for any accessories/headphones" - never again.
We have two pairs as part of the Samsung Note 10 promotion and both have stress fractures at the folding hinge. One pair had a major break today when opening. Given the retail price for these items, the build quality is quite poor. Neither have been put through any real abusive use. The audio quality is not as good as my Audio-Technica ATH-DSR7BT headset being used with the first gen Google Pixel XL. That is due to Samsung not using AptX-HD for bluetooth audio CODEC.
Not as comfortable as my BOSE headphones. Stopped recharging, which means it's unusable!
I didn't use the headphones for few month and today I put on charging but its not turning on at all, tried different chargers and cable but not a single pulse.
As a few other reviews have noted, these devices sound great and look great but suffer from poor build quality and design. I've had my headphones for a few months now, and they're developing the microcracks shown in a few of the other reviews here. I've tried to go through the warranty process to get this issue resolved but I've been told that its due to "wear and tear" and that the headphones do not have any structural defects. There's pieces of plastic falling off the headphones! I can't imagine how much worse these cracks will get after a few more months! I do not recommend these headphones if you want a pair to last at least a year.
