I have had these headphones for almost a week now. They have a sleek modernized design and the color is rich and vibrant. I purchased the pink set. The controls are easy to navigate and use. Pairing with my Samsung S8+ was a breeze. They are extremely comfortable and well made. The ear pads are memory foam and are flexible and they allow for movement so that they do not put too much pressure on the ears. The sound is magnificent and very clear. They have a feature when you remove them in the middle of a song that they will pause your music. I have not had any charging issues and the charge last throughout the day for me. I normally have a long commute. - I travel 3 hrs to work each way. I find these to be better than the Beats headphones that I also have and only used for a short time due to them being uncomfortable on my ears. These headphones are worth the investment, especially if you spend a lot of time commuting and listening to music. I was given this as a free gift for a recent new samsung purchase. The Instruction leaflet was in the smallest of writing .Written in a myriad of languages, absolute gobblegook. However thanks to support documents on line found it easy to set up.Great to use good sound. The sound on phone calls appeared to work better with ambient sound off as was echoey.well made and comfortable

Top quality headphones that are sturdy but not bulky, very comfortable. The sound via a Samsung A50 is clear and crisp with a rich sound. Easy to pair via Bluetooth.

Just received my headphones and can honestly say I could sleep with them on obviously not with music playing :-). Very well built, easy to use control's at hand. First impressions..I'm very happy

I got this headphones for free with Samsung Promotions and i love these headphones since they got here. I have used them for a good 3 weeks now and are actually noise cancelling. Only one issue the beep for listing to the environment around you is a bit too loud in my opinion. Overall 5 Starts

The AKG Y500 headphones are pretty solid when it comes to sound quality and build. Having features like Ambient Aware, 2 Bluetooth connections, pause /resume when removing the headphones makes them stand out from the pack. The sound quality from the Bluetooth connection is better than good. Plug them up wired and the sound is even better. I like using them for work, as my environment is very noisy. I can tune everyone out with the press of a button. You will no longer hear the key presses and any chatter in the office. Please keep in mind the controls may take some getting used to. The volume controls are also used to switch tracks with a 5 second hold up or down. I would suggest looking at the manual to learn the phone functions on the headphones. Overall, I am really happy with the AKG Y500 headphones and would recommend if you need a fantastic pair of headphones. Thanks to #AKGInsiders #TheInsidersUS I have a great opportunity to try out the AKG Y500s. Not only have I tested them with various music genres and movies. I have put them through test in situations and battery life. The Y500s definitely have a nice crisp clarity when it comes to vocals. The bass is not very deep at all problem something I personally would prefer, but that's not what these headphones are targeted for. Sound isolation seems to work pretty good. I can block out the daily surrounding noises, but they are not airplane worthy. They are decent enough to use on a plane but they will not drown out the noise 100%. Even though the ear cups are a little small for my ears my wife did find them a perfect fit. The ear cups are a tiny bit to heavy for the head band. The weight is is not balance, but I have a feeling this was done to avoid them feeling to heavy on your head overall. The button layout is a bit tight for my fingers. AKG could have used "real estate" on top of the ear cup to move some of the buttons. I didn't dare risk the band twist/break test, but the quality has proven to be durable. During a test when I was using them while cleaning bent over and went down a bit quick to pick something off the ground the head set tilted forward and fell off. The perk of not having to much pressure on your head creating that "pinching" effect can also be a negative if you plan on being active while using. Normally these are not the style of heads for something like that so I wouldn't strike that as a negative. The battery life was amazing I watched 3 movies and binged about 4-5 tv shows along with some tunes to and from one my most recent flight all on a single charge. I am very impressed with battery life this is exactly what I needed. I always have a problem with Bluetooth headsets not keeping up on battery on my all day flights. Keep note you can only pair 2 devices to these AKG headsets so if you wanted to move from one device to a new one its going to take a little bit of BT juggling, but it can be done. Finally range is awesome, I know most times you will have your device near bye, but sometimes you don't think about that and you walk away and its nice to have your tunes keep playing as you walk around and back to your device. So far my favorite use is for music at the office or at night watching movies before I fall asleep in them, because the cups are soft they extremely comfortable. Sound quality is average, doesn't blow your socks off nor is it bad, just what you expect from reasonably priced headphones. The battery life on these are great, and the fact they are also 3.5mm jack compatible is great for when they run out of juice. The ambient noise tech only works when being used via BlueTooth and besides that, it's lacking on the technology front. That being said, ear fatigue sets in after 30mins-1hour, and you can't use these in any setting where you are not upright as they will just fall off your head.
