AKONA Vinyl Cement Patch, Fast Drying, Concrete Stains & Finishes, 10 lbs Bag

I had never worked with this before and on a whim I decided to get this because I saw a viral hack on how to apply vinyl cement patch on plastic pots to give them a concrete finish for the garden. It was very easy to mix. It's not a huge bag as regular cement, so I was able to carry it myself. The other types of bags are always intimidatingly for me since they look heavy. I wasn't sure on the outcome so I actually mixed a small batch in a milk carton, then tried it on a few sides of plastic pot containers. It came out very well. It does take a few days to cure. I watched and read alot before trying it. The pics aren't uploading but if you're on the fence on trying this for some diy crafts, I say try it.

I ordered this Vinyl cement patch through the Vine program. Size is a standard small bag, which is convenient for small repair jobs around the home. Build quality feels decent for a patching compound—the material mixes smoothly when water is added. The bag was very slightly busting open due to its weight upon receiving, but it doesn't appear that much product was lost. It works good as a concrete repair material. It is easy to use because it only requires water to activate, and it spreads easily with a putty knife or trowel for a smooth application. The low gloss finish and neutral color blend reasonably well with surrounding surfaces without standing out too much. Functionality is good for patching worn or damaged areas. I am using it on the walkway near my wood porch. It is easy to install—just mix with water, apply, and let it cure with no special tools or complicated steps required. Fit into the repair area is good, adhering well to the existing surface. This is a good value. My star rating is 4 and I recommend it.
