Works great. I have normal hearing at 58. The alarm is loud. It enables me to get to dad before he gets up by himself.

Maybe it would be OK in s nursing home
I bought this for my mom who is a fall risk. It does work but the sound to be isn't loud enough if she were in her apartment with the door closed.
