Been using this product for 7 years. love it.
I have a few body creams at the moment from other brands but I can't wait to finish those so I can get into using this one because its really a wonderful body cream, smells lovely and it feels moisturizing and soft on the skin. Good buy and good price.
Love this brand - I use a lot of their products and happy to have found it on I was happy to find it on iHerb. With a blend of vanilla, cucumber and arnica extracts, tropical oils, shea and cocoa butter, it smells divine and keeps skin moist and soft all day.
I like the scent but it doesn't last all day. If you sweat a lot it may not be great for the hot summer days. The size is good. It lasted about 2 months but I didn't use it everyday. The best season is maybe spring or autumn. It moisturizes but not enough for winter.
Alba is a new body product brand for me. I like the butter of the cream. Botanica ... it is cool- I wanted kukui nut, The fragrance or scent is vanilla candles with a touch of cinnamon. I haven't been around people for complements yet, would make a great gift but it's great on hands these reviews are hard because I have to check off the list in order for it to take it but I'm being honest. It does not have the kukui nut scent that I recall from the islands, but yes I do love this cream I'm happy I got it.
... and I have tried a bunch because I have health problems that make my skin drier than normal. When I use this cream my skin still feels moisturized when I shower the following day - like when you shower off the oil from sunbathing at the beach - you still feel the slick feel to your skin. (Well... like when we used to "sunbathe" to tan). Now I use the fake stuff to look golden. I use the Kukui Nut oil, too. I put it on before I shower or bathe to prevent my skin from drying out. Moisturized skin keep your fake tan looking better and longer. Lots of good ingredients and not many of the not so good ones
After living in Hawai'i for five years (and moving away), I missed the products made of kukui nut oil. This one from Alba Botanica is excellent. With a mild, slightly cocoa buttery fragrance, the cream is a light maple candy color and is silky smooth. I put it on after a shower and I simply love it. I had this product on the shelf for a few months, trying to use up other products to get to this one. When I finally did, I was surprised. This really did outdo my expectations. This is a good-sized container and will last me probably 6-9 months. If you like products from tropical islands and don't live on one, then you might want to give this kukui nut body cream a try. I'm glad I did.
Really happy with this. Easy to open container, smells great, (kind of like chocolate) , nice smooth texture and leaves my skin moist and soft. I can have sensitive skin but haven't had any issues with this. Will definitely use again and would recommend it.
Cream smells simply marvellous, you wish to eat from a can. But.. please don't . Much better to apply to skin. For the slighlty damaged skin after woodworking or simply for people after some garden duties - this is a saver. Yes, not cheap, but effect well worth money
Hawaiian Body Cream is a wonderfully hydrating product that leaves the skin feeling soft and moisturized. Its rich texture absorbs well, providing lasting hydration without a greasy feel. The cream is perfect for daily use, especially in dry or cold weather. However, I'm not a fan of the scent, which can be quite overpowering. While the cream itself is effective, the fragrance might not suit everyone's preferences. Overall, it's a great moisturizer, but if you're sensitive to scents, it's something to keep in mind.
