Alcatel Volta, 16GB - Suede Gray - UNLOCKED - FACE RECOGNITION- NEW

It's been 9 months %26 this phone has held up well with no case. For 50$ you get 2 GB LPDDR3 RAM, 16 GB Internal Storage that is expandable to 128 GB which, I have a 64 GB SD Card in it %26 it works fine. You get a 5.5 inch screen which, could have been smaller for this price tag but, you get a 3000 mah battery that can last almost all day %26 it is removable. Sadly, this phone is very underrated so there is not a lot of root for it. This phone has micro USB so, charging speeds aren't fast but, it charges. This phone has a headphone jack which is amazing... Just note that, when your playing media through aux like in a car, at maximum volume, the phone will disconnect from the jack repeatedly until you lower the volume but, it doesnt matter. Oh yeah, it's unlocked with 4G LTE with a nano sim card %26 no dual sim. Last thing, the computing chip on this smartphone (mediatek mt6739) it's capable of light gaming %26 watching videos on yeah, screen brightness is not too bright %26 it's not the highest pixel density but, it's still a screen.

I like that the phone was affordable but unfortunately, it gave me a hard time to set up and it wouldn't allow me to use my home Internet Protocol address.

I just recieved this phone today, and I tried to charge it, but even plugged in it just kept losing battery at an alarming rate unless it was shut down completely. It also can't send group texts unless your data remains on at all times, which is somewhat irritating. This phone just isn't what I need, and I'll be returning it

The box states (on a big sticker) 100% UNLOCKED PHONE. Not true. In fact there is an "unlock" app installed on the phone. After running, it say "Unlock failed" which explains why tracfone was unable to get the phone operational. Will visit an AT%26T store and see if they can clear the phone -- otherwise it's going back to the Walmart seller that stuck me with this mess.
