This cage is amazing! It would even be good for a medium bird. I got the cage for a newly added pet rat. He's full grown, I thought maybe the bars were alittle too wide at first, but they're perfectly spaced. I wouldn't put anything smaller than a full sized rat in here, like a hamster or a mouse. It would be a tad too small for a ferret. All and all this cage is perfect and I feel like for the price I paid I got it at a steal. This is a heavy duty durable cage. The wheels make it easy to get it from room to room. All around a very happy customer and an even happier rat!

Beautiful cage. ONLY FOR FERRETS! I bought mine for my guinea pigs but my guinea pig's legs would have fallen through. So I returned it and got a complete refund. Great quality and it is well made. If I had a ferret I would definitely use this cage. Would recommend for ferret owners.

Bought this cage for my growing opossum. I like the fact it has wheels so it's easy to move around. My only issue is that as she grows this cage won't be big enough so I will have to upgrade. If your pet will stay smaller this is a good cage but not big enough for more than one animal such as ferrets.

I have read some bad reviews on this item regarding difficult asssembley, however, I found that if the assembley instructions are followed properly there are no problems. My item came in good shape with all parts included. It seems to be made fairly well and in my opinion is well worth what I paid for it.

Nice size for ferrets and rats or similar sized pet. Didn't like the grate at bottom of cage because of rats little feet so we removed it and moved the tray with bedding in it's spot. After that a little messy but the rats like the climbing and extra room. Easy to assemble my 16 yr. old daughter did it herself in no time at all.

i like the size for couple rats. able to attach hammocks and such. great for their climbing. wish it was taller in the legs. it did suck putting it together. it seemed twisted making it a challenge to line up holes to place screws. also with slight "twist", the trays and platforms didn't place as smooth as should. have to add proper mats to protect little feet from floor. all worked out though and happy with purchase

The cage is a decent size for the price. I happy I caught it on sale. The pics really don't do it justice. Sad part is the water bottle is rather cheap and I had to improvise on how to get it not to move around because it doesn't hold well. The bowl it came with was plastic and unfortunately came broken so I cannot use it. One of the cage doors was completely stuck on top I had to lightly hammer it down because it would not open. It was hard for me to put together just because the screws were rather hard to tighten for me. I do not think my Guinea pigs like it or they just lazy. My daughter been working on them moving around up and down the stairs with treats. Trying to work on how to make it more comfortable for them because they stay on the lower level and don't move around. If any ideas please help.

It says this is for a sugar glider as well well I definitely do not recommend this cage for a sugar glider! They slip right through the bars! We had to put mesh all around the cage to keep him in. And FedEx also damaged the cages leg and some of the frame luckily I have took to fix the frame! I wont ever ordered from Walmart.com because your delivery system sucks!

I bought this cage for my Syrian Hamster- put it together with no help from the instructions- yes the instructions sucked. Put my hamster in the cage mond you he is a big boy. He gets out seems all good and dandy- he then looks around and he is able to exit through the spacing mind you this hamster is fat and big in general for his breed. Would not recomend this for a Syrian hamster. Also if you have an animal bigger then that your getting it for- you want a lot of patience to build this. Honestly disapointed.

Cheapest ever....It was crooked and took forever to build because it is so poorly designed. No wonder it was on clearance. I bought it for my chinchilla and the metal ramp (the top one) fell off as he was running on it and he fell all the way to the bottom of the cage. I heard him scream the poor thing. Save your money this thing is not worth it
