Alden Design 5 lbs Black Round Polyethylene and Iron Patio Umbrella Base with Fillable

I purchased this round base for my patio umbrella. It does a good job of holding up my umbrella snd I have tried it out on some fairly windy days. I filled with water so I can easily empty when I store in the garage for the winter months. If I need to move the umbrella, I just roll along the edge and turn to move the base. Good price. I am happy with my purchase.

Turned out better than expected. So far holds the umbrella in place and didn't take too much water so will be easy to empty. Am pleased with this purchase.

My umbrella has NOT blown over at all with this base. I filled it with half sand and half water. It's perfect for umbrellas that is not used with a table.

Cheap and affordable. Unfortunately, easily gets blown over by strong winds. I live in NW Las Vegas where it's windy all the time. When filled completely with water, this base was unable to prevent my 9' umbrella from getting blown over even when it was rolled up. Works perfectly well for sunny days though.

The wind has not blown it over yet. I filled with water. I think it needs a 2nd tightening knob and perhaps a little taller pole to be safe. Also, once it's full do be ready for it to be hard to move. It's heavy.

Good quality and weight with water. The umbrella pole was bigger than the small adapter but smaller than the big adapter so had to be tightened quite a bit with the screw, leaving the pole a little wobbly.

It's works great my only problem is how do you drain the water when your ready to store it and put away it's not easy to remove water

Unable to return to store since it came from a third party. I would prefer to shop Walmart only and not have other vendor options.

It would be great if it came with the correct parts. Had some random part that doesn't help and won't adjust for smaller pole.
