Super happy with the shelves! They are sturdy, look great, and are easily assembled - Although I strongly recommend a large pair of pliers to bend the tabs on the crossbars. Only thing missing is a way to anchor the shelves to the wall; I wound up screwing 2x4's to the wall and then screwing the shelves to that using wood screws and fender washers. Used some scrap 1x2's and 1/2-inch screws to make “bookends”.
This is a Great Shelf Unit! Good instructions make it easy to put together! Completed in very little time! It is Very Sturdy and can hold a lot of weight! I bought it from Walmart online for a Great Price and it arrived in 2 days! I am thinking about buying another one because I love it!
Buy this! For the price you cannot beat the quality. It is sturdy, durable and easy to assemble. My only tiny complaint is that there aren't enough boards for each shelf and the scratch resistant pads don't stay on. Otherwise it is beautiful too and great quality.
light weight but sturdy. easy to move around since it got wheels. ghese are ourr second order. the first natch were black and the last one are pinks.
Shelving went together rather easily and is very sturdy. Like the fact that there is a center support for each shelf.
good quality for the price paid; all the parts fit neatly, and no parts were missing or damaged. not sure if the board enclosed can actually hold the specified weight - they look a bit weak, but otherwise good / smooth and fit the frame properly. the frame wasn't as solid as I thought, but good enough for my purposes
I like this shelf. Very easy to put together... no tools other an a hammer. Everything slips together. The shelves are very sturdy. I use it in my house like a pantry so it is easy to see foods and expiration dates. Only problem I had was that two of the tall posts did not easily slip into the bracket below. After about 30 minutes and several tries they finally slipped together. I would buy another one for use in my garage or in a walk-in closet that needs shelves.
Got the bottom half put together alright, got 3 of 4 of the top part up but the last rail will NOT align, the edges are so sharp (thank you for the gloves) and the whole top of the rail is bent up from trying to pound the dang thing into the slot..arghhhhh, it is now stuck on there because of course it moves when you try to pound it in place with a mallet , I am terrified that when we move it it will all fall apart, if you buy it, build it where you are wanting to place it.
The unit sides and supports are supposed to slide together. The pins are precision to the metal, but they won't slide together if the angles are not square. Forcing them results in bent metal. (It says to do that with a rubber hammer, and is a stupid instruction.) So, thin metal, poorly engineered in my humble experience.
Shelves are easy to put together and I like them. The shipping which I had to pay for was terrible. First delivery date was Monday but it changed each day to Tuesday then to Wednesday then to Thursday then to Friday. Then it changed to Saturday even though it showed to be in Baton Rouge since Monday. It was very challenging trying to find a phone number to call about my item and I had to call 3 different companies before finally getting to the warehouse where my shelves were sitting were 5 days! I drove the 15 miles to Baton Rouge on Friday and picked then up with my truck.
