It is easy to assemble. Has a nice look. I haven't pushed the weight limit specs and I am not sure this shelving unit could really handle the weight and if it did, I think it would fatigue in short order. The design is good. I wish it would have come with thicker shelving boards. It is all the maker stated. I still am unsure of the top load limit numbers.
I purchased this under the impression that the shelves were going to be sturdy and the legs of the shelves we're going to be actually thick metal not thin aluminum. it's good for decoration but not for holding 3D printers or anything heavy if you want it to be sturdy It is not sturdy. It is very wobbly.
i have lost count of how many items I've assembled over the years but this one tops my list for difficulty! the instructions are vague, the diagrams are also vague. it's unclear whether or not the shelves should go under the ridges or on top of the ridges. i could go on and on! i wouldn't recommend this to my worse enemy. i well say that once assembled it served the purpose for my closet but i would not call it sturdy by any stretch of imagination. also, the instructions say it takes an hour, it took me two days!
The material was not found to be what the description detailed. The frame material is extremely flimsy and the shelves are compressed cardboard. I needed utility structure heavy duty frame and actual solid wood shelf to house items 75 lbs per shelf. But if you're looking for unit for housing teddy bears, board games, linens, small potted plants, laundry supplies, etc. This unit would be great for such use.
Pieces are to slide into each other, supposed to be less difficult, but still was. Instructions were just puctures, written ones in addition would hace been better. The shelf boards are pretty thin and I wasn't going to trust them. They were janky, in my opinion. They were cheap and it showed.
The columns don't fit into the slots right. The instructions say you need a mallet to put it together but they don't provide one. The metal is so flimsy that it wobbles around while you try to mallet it in, and the edges are SHARP so it's a danger trying to put it together. My partner sustained two injuries trying to assemble it, after the second one we decided to just throw it away rather than try and finish it.
All the other reviews must be fake, first of all the product they send to you is different from the walmart photo, then the item is impossible to assemble since the bars would not go all the way in, unless you use a hammer which will bend the metal bars since it is very thin and flimsy, trust me this product is very flimsy and impossible to assemble, then i chat with walmart customer service which of course is not helpful. Overall stay away from this and buy in amazon instead.
I ordered 4, opened one and realized this product is not worth the money. Packaged back the one I opened, printed 4 return labels. The driver is supposed to pick it up on the 7th January but no one showed up! Do I start/ schedule another return day, do i need to replace the labels i already printed and placed?? Sorry this is such a hassle. Also the middle connecting parts of this product is super flimsy and cheap quality. You are going to need some sort of pliers. Also to assemble this product you need a rubber mallet which they did not provide, or maybe it's in one of the other 3 i didn't open. I would only recommend if you're on a tight budget, have a rubber mallet, plier tool at home, and don't plan to place too many heavy things on the racks. And have a lot of patience to assemble. Otherwise you can find better quality ones on azamon, you know. **I expect an email or something regarding the return please. Do I reprint labels (have to travel) or use the same ones. Do I reschedule a return delivery pick up date? Sorry to vent yall, perhaps there was a mixup with the driver somewhere, sorry
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Assembly requires rubber mallet which is not included in package. It does come with cheap gloves because during assembly, micro metal pieces fall all over. Assembly is not easy, I didn't make it past step one. You basically have to pound pieces of metal together that are too small to fit on each other. Returning.
this came in two boxes it's supposed to be two huge shelves Don't even bother ordering this it's not even big enough for a bookshelf I never even took it out of the box because they aren't that big it was a joke a 3-year-old stands taller than these things do Don't bother buying it I needed something really huge and this was not it it is going back to the store when FedEx dropped it off I was asking him is that it like looking for more because I had to be more so this can't even be all of the package all of the shells something's wrong but yes I didn't open The package because what was a point those shelves aren't even big enough so I just went ahead and ordered on Amazon Amazon will take care of me I don't find Walmart taking care of me the way that Amazon does not only that it was supposed to be here within a couple days it took a week and a half That's too long and it was only coming out of Houston to Idaho no thank you so I wouldn't bother if you do it's you're up to you you'll be returning it more than likely as well unless you're looking for something small I was looking for it for storage
