It was easy to assemble and its actually sturdy. I bought this for my granddaughters and they love it. Even other family Members are joining in the fun. I like that you can adjust the height on the stand. This was a great purchase and bought the junior balls to go with it.
This was my 7 year old sons favorite bday present. He plays with it all the time either by himself or with all the neighborhood kids (ages 4-12). I like that u can easily adjust the height depending on who's using it. Its better quality than I expected and so far its been very sturdy. I definitely recommend!
Exercise for the kids during this pandemic!!!
Great adjustable size. NOT for FULL SIZE Basketballs. I believe that a FULL SIZE/ HEAVY BASKETBALL COULD BREAK the plastic backboard after repeated long shots. Metal stand and Rim seem solid. But backboard is plastic. I bought a Smaller size basketball and that seems to work great. Hopefully it will last a year or 2 and until my granddaughters are ready for their next size. Oh and it was easy to put together. couple of sockets and a wrench.
Its a little on the cheap side, not high quality or very heavy. We have to weigh it down with a patio block on the base. But, its good enough for a starter hoop.
Ill give the positives and the negatives about this goal. Positives: It can be raised much higher than a toddler goal, and much lower than most full-sized goals, which makes it a good in-between size. It was pretty easy to put together. It has a weighted base you can fill with water. Its pretty easy to adjust the height. Cons: The rim bends very easily and has already broken away from the backboard at its base. The backboard is thin plastic and would not withstand balls bouncing off of it for very long. This goal would best be used for very small children with a very lightweight ball.
The item is OK, its a little flimsy and the bar supporting the hoop is slightly off center so the hoop is bent slightly to the right relative to the base. Easy to put together and the kids are enjoying it.
The basket net "dissolves" in hot weather. Yes it does. It loses its construction. Don't know what chemical it is made of, but it really does! So, recommend you use this indoors, or just live with the fact that the netting eventually falls apart. Never seen anything like this before.
For elementary kids only. Ok construction.
I ordered this product. It was delivered used with sand in the box. I returned it. The replacement came with tape on all sides and one side all stapled up. I am not even going to open the box and just return it because it is already showing signs of USED PRODUCT!!!
