I am very suprised at the quality of this cat tree! It's definitely worth the price. Its true to size, sturdy, and the carpeting feels great. Just make sure to order a color that is sold and shipped by Wal-Mart because I first tried ordering black that was shipped by a different company and it was marked as delivered but never was, and I had to get a refund.
My 9 year old put this together while I was downstairs and I didn’t even know he had done it til I went upstairs. So I guess assembly was easy and instructions were clear haha. Our 10 week old kitten loves it ALOT. It’s probably not for large breeds like Maine Coone cats or other, but for my little black tabby I hope he’ll enjoy it for years!
This cat tree is amazing my cat loves it I was very hesitant on buying one bc I didn’t know if she would like it but she loves it and it’s a great price if your looking for a cat tree this is a must !
In the picture they advertised full grown cats on the cat tree, I thought this would be perfect for my 8 month old kitten. However, it is relatively small. Half of his body hangs out of the cubes. I have a special needs kitten with 3 legs so he needs room to maneuver, it is hard for him to move around on it. You get what you pay for though. He still enjoys it!
This cat climber took about an hour for our daughter to put together, with the kitten playing with the pieces. She wasn’t in a hurry about it. Our senior kitty doesn’t have a lot of interest in it, but the new 4 1/2 month kitten our daughter adopted loves it! We just brought him home a few weeks ago. He is a very affectionate 4 lb ball of energy, but isn’t entirely sure what he thinks of our equally energetic 3 yo, 12 lb poodle mix that wants to start some rowdy play with him. This climber gives the kitten a place to play, and also give himself safe distance from Miss Crazy, when she gets to be too rowdy with him. He also likes playing with the little pompoms with bells on them. After feeding the two kitties in the morning, we move the kitten’s remaining food into the climber for the day, so it’s available, but the poodle can’t finish it for him. We find that very helpful. I do think it would be more appealing if it had a matching carpet on at least some of the posts and surfaces. I’ve noticed him clawing on the sisal only a couple times, but not on the fur fabric, and there isn’t much sisal. So, we are providing additional scratching things in the same room, because he’s clawing chairs and carpet. All in all a good sized cat tree for the money. If it had more carpet on it, so he had more appealing surface area to sharpen his claws on it, it would be 5 star. Side note: we measured the space carefully before ordering. This is definitely not a 19x19 footprint. The manufacturer measured the square base, but didn’t take into account how far the accessory pieces overhang the 19x19 base. It’s more cramped in the corner than we would have liked. Looking at it in the corner, I would estimate it has closer to a 24x24 footprint.
BUYER BEWARE! This cat tree is not for adult cats. If you have an adult cat that is 5 pounds or smaller it may be big enough but is obviously intended for kittens. I have 3 cats 13 pounds and up and they could only fit their heads in the hideouts.
It's well made and quite sturdy but poorly designed! A full size cat will have a very hard time getting into the second floor box, unless it jumps from the floor up. My 3 year old Abby tried several times and after falling back to the floor, I decided to place a chair next to the tree which gives my cat an even shot at climbing into that second floor, which she loves, once she finally get in it!
I am not happy with this cat tree… it is way smaller then what they Advertise in the picture the trees like maybe 3 feet tall I would not buy this again
