Alden Design 70" Cat Tree with Condo and Scratching Post Tower, Dark Gray

My Wife enjoyed putting the tree together for our cat. She said I picked a nice quality. Its extremely sturdy, all pieces came included and all instructions were able to be followed. The light grey color is beautiful, super soft. Our cat took a couple days to get used to a new object in the house, though she warmed up to the cubbie spaces soon after.

This was my Black Friday purchase for our 3 teenage cats. As kittens they loved the small one we got them but it was pretty a 1 cat tree. But with three of them the same age they all seemed to want to plat/sleep on the small one at the same time. Ours was delivered last night and I built it first thing this morning. I didnt get half way done before curiosity got the best of them and they were all over the thing. Only took 30-45 minutes to assemble and the cats were quickly terrorizing each other on it. They absolutely love it. I have no complaints other than I should have ordered it sooner for them, my bad. If you love your cats and are considering a tree/condo, this thing is awesome!

I have a handful of cats, and this is now their most prized possession! Plenty of room for everyone, and it's made of good quality materials. I've had to re-rope the lower legs already (very easy process) but that's only because it gets a lot of use.

I have an extremely rambunctious cat, she's got so much energy and I figured a piece of furniture for her that was all to herself would do the trick. It's gorgeous to look at, relatives and friends were somewhat skeptical that it might be a bit of an eyesore because it's only for the cat, but it's barely noticeable and it keeps my feline friend from dashing from couch to couch like a mad man! Building time isn't too awful, some said it took them 20 minutes, I took around an hour, but not once did I get frustrated which was a total relief. It also comes with a bolt or two of extra incase you misplace one during the build (: Overall I really love the cat tree, my cat was climbing on it and exploring the moment she set her eyes on it. It's very sturdy too, she's a small/medium sized cat, but there's definitely enough room for a larger cat if you'd like. I'd say max amount of cats for this tree would be 2 adult cats, 3 would be pushing it. I absolutely recommend this tree a thousand percent, if you're looking for something nice for your cat, especially if your little friend is a wild card, this is the tree for you, it even includes a piece to attach it to the wall for your cat's safety and children's safety (: Color: 9/10 (wish there were more color options) Scent out of the box: Smelled like fresh pine Cat's initial reaction: 10/10 (had to take her out of the room a couple times just to get a little progress) My thoughts: Perfect!!!! Not a thing I'd change other than more color options would be lovely, but the light gray is beautiful and this is a quality tree that won't break the bank!

Hi! Beethoven here. I wanted to give you MY review of the new cat tree Mommy bought me and Mozart. When it first came, I wanted to sleep in the 'house'. I felt real safe and comfy there. But I also found that the walls of the house were made of mesh, and I decided that I liked to SCRATCH the mesh!! Much to Mommy's dismay!! She had to yell at me many times to STOP scratching there!! And told me to stick to the sisal!! I also love to sleep in the hanging basket from time to time, but my favorite place of all is the bed at the top!! Mommy says I'm a jumper and a climber, so I'm mostly the reason Mommy bought me a tall cat tree. I love all the places to scratch on this tree. It's a winner!! Hi! Mozart here. I want to give you MY review also. I love this cat tree. I mostly use it as a jungle gym to jump from one level to another. However I do sometimes like to chill out on the level below the cat bed at the top. I can stretch out that way. But I get up on the cat bed as much as possible. I love it up there. But I'm a shy and totally quiet kitty and if I'm up in the cat bed and Beethoven comes up and wants to be in it, I get up and jump off and let him have it!! We are both alpha male cats, but Beethoven is the alpha cat of the cat tree. I love to scratch on the sisal of this cat tree too! I say this cat tree is a winner too! Hi! Mommy here. I'm so glad I purchased this cat tree. My kitties really do enjoy it. The only thing I'm not too sure about is the quality of the sisal pieces that the kitties scratch on. The 4 pieces of sisal on the bottom get the majority of the scratching, although the kitties scratch the sisal at other levels too. However, I've only had the cat tree now for about 4 months, and already the sisal on the bottom 4 legs looks tattered!! I have an old cat tree and a sisal cone, both from the early 1990's, that all my kitties I've had since then had used (and these guys are still using them), and the sisal on them is NOT tattered at all!! I don't quite understand why this is happening on the new cat tree. I do cut Beethoven's and Mozart's nails about once a month. Other than that though, I am extremely happy with this cat tree!! The price was right for this item.

This cat tree is great. Very sturdy and stable. It was a little bit difficult to put together at first because nothing was labeled, but once I got it started it was pretty easy to complete. The cats loved it even before I finished putting it together.

Love this cat tree condo!!!! It was packaged very nicely. Each piece was numbered for easy identification during assembly. Assembly very easy. The cat tree looks bigger than the dimensions listed, it's solid, well made, and very sturdy. It took a little bit for my 13 week old kitten to get used to it, but now she sleeps in the box and the shelf right above. It took almost a week, but with some treats and encouragement, she's hanging out in a tall and safe place. Just an FYI, this is a big cat tree, so in my experience, it's a little much for a young kitten to start out on, but of course, they will grow into it.

In a far from a handyman and can never seem to assemble anything but this went together very easily. It looks great and is very sturdy. I did not give it 5 stars because when it was delivered the box was destroyed. I am amazed that the only piece missing was one if the little toys. Otherwise, very happy with my purchase.

My kitten is loving this cat tree so far! She really likes the little window hole (see pic)! She has been sleeping a lot in the condo and started getting in the basket sometimes. She does not go to the top yet, use the tunnel, nor has she used the hammock. My tree only came with 3 of the 4 hooks needed for the hammock, but Walmart is sending me an entire replacement tree (?!) for that ONE hook that I then have to go through the trouble of sending back. Next time I'd get something with more condos, but maybe she'll use the bed up top, tunnel, and hammock eventually. Overall, satisfied with my purchase!

I bought this for my catio about six months ago and it was the perfect cat tree for the situation. Yesterday when I walked out on the back porch I noticed the top section had snapped off where it attached to the platform below it. I would love to be able to just get the top section but I'm sure that's not a possibility.I hesitate to purchase another one for fear of the same thing happening. It's not like I have a huge cat that is too much weight for this cat tree.
