Very nicely packaged. The wood looks nice and the sections are easier to link together than a toy train track. Got this in order to cover an oddly-shaped small patio with something prettier than the old concrete. Will see if the good looks hold up under the weather. I also used 4 of the squares to make a nice bath mat.
I could not believe how easy they are to install. looks great I am ordering more. I have decided to enlarge my patio, and by myself, I am eighty years young and it is so nice to find a product i can do without any help.
I ordered these earlier some this summer and I needed another box to complete tt project. Came right back to the Walmart website and ordered the exact same ones, yet they've changed the way they interlocked so they're not compatible with the other tiles I bought. of course I didn't realize this until I had them all stained and ready to install already. So now I don't have a seamless deck, there's a gap where the old style doesn't interlock properly with the new style. Really a big pain!
Easy peasy! 20 × 7 porch deck install went smooth all by myself - click in place and cuts to plastic on bottom of wood and wood itself. Better than expected! Also best price around after checking Amazon, home depot, lowes and flooring store. Free delivery!
Good, but unlocks easily!
The wood itself has some knots, and it's clear stain was used on the wood. There is some splintering and uneven coloring, but it doesn't look bad. I will be sealing my tiles with water - based polyurethane, because boiled linseed oil made them a little bit oranger than they originally came. And, since I will be using the tiles outside, I want to protect them against water damage and my dog's nails.
The pavers are a nice look but very hard when installing. They easily unlock after you interlock them and that is a pain when trying to install them. If you step on them depending on your weight also they may become unlocked before putting the sand down of course. The color fades quickly. I think brick pavers might be your best bet. In the end you may actually be saving money with the brick pavers and have a more secure foundation.
The flooring tiles did not come with any instructions ions on how to install it or care for it.
I bought 6 boxes of these interlocking tiles, they look beautiful but as I am taking them out of the boxes I have noticed they have a lot of knots on the wood and on some tiles the wood is splintered up, therefore I will need to somehow sand it or apply some kind of glue to fix it. I don't want to install them yet until I treat them, because I'm scared they aren't going to last very long if I don't seal them first..
i was so happy to find these tiles for our front patio but very disappointed when see their quality. these are very lightweight and the wood is not sturdy. looks like it will break when you put a heavy thing on it. also i received damage boxes . the wood is broke from many parts and there are so many knots in the wood. its not same like the pictures.
