ALDERAC Smash Up Board Game, 80 Cards, 2 Players, Ages 12+

At this point I've played with four different expansion packs to the base game of Smash Up and Awesome Level 9000 is by far the best and most crucial to own for someone expanding their Smash Up collection. The four factions here are all really cool and definitely add their own element to the game, as well as the bases. After this expansion, the other ones have factions that seem like slightly modified versions of previously existing factions which just isn't true with Awesome Level 9000. It's well-balanced and I can't decide whether I like Steampunks or Bear Calvary better. Ghosts are really interesting and you have to completely change your play style to use them but in the end they're totally worth it. Killer Plants also take some getting used to but once you understand how to utilize a few key minions you're golden. This is a very high quality expansion and if someone were to skip the base game and go straight for an expansion I would definitely recommend this one without a doubt.
