Morning Wood
Alderwood is used in Alaska for smoking meat. It grows wild. Simply delicious. I have traveled to Alaska 6 times. Each time, brought home Alderwood smoking chips for grilling. Never knew there was a salt that could take the place of smoking. You will love it, if you like smoked tastes. I also use hickory, apple, oak, mesquite chips. They are all delicious. But, try this salt as a rub. You will love it.

We like this flavor of salt and this particular formulation is deeply smoked, but doesn't dominate dishes in which we use it. We would've bought a smaller quantity if it was available, but we're happy with the extra.
