Aleene's Clear Acrylic Spray Sealer, Gloss 6 oz

I use this sealer on EVERY SINGLE outdoor decor item I own. This stuff is amazing. It provides an actually coating, completely protecting all my decorations from sun, rain, and outdoor damage. You can use it on faux plants, blow molds, and even paper!! Makes everything waterproof and sealed (when applied properly). This has helped me from repainting my decor.

I feel it is a game changer for fake jewelry I seen a hack from a influencer on YouTube. It sealed my jewelry and dries fast you need a old shoe box or box to do this hack in. ☺️

So far so good we’ll see how well it protects items that are in the sun from fading. That was the purpose of buying the spray. I have lots of outdoor parties for my daughter‘s garden as she passed away at the age of 25 so I made a garden in her name Because everything that I put out at her gravestone kept getting stolen so now I just have Nickie‘s garden and of course I go put flowers on my daughter‘s grave every birthday and every passing date and then sometimes in the middle I’m not gonna lie

This stuff works well on most crafts. I paint on wooden slices and using the Acrylic spray afterwards keeps my art safe, and well protected. I like to put my art pieces on a piece of cardboard, go outside on my porch for well ventilation, and spray each piece 6 inches away, and thoroughly so that it is well protective. It does have a strong odor, hence why I only spray when I'm outdoors. It dries pretty fast, but for best results, allow the item to dry for a day or two to really set properly. It leaves a beautiful shine as well as protecting the art. It can be sticky for several hours, but once it's set - it becomes smooth and dry and no more stickiness! Definitely worth buying, as I have been getting this exact brand for several years now. Also works on canvas paintings, and painted rocks - all of which I have done in the last several years. In the photos, I have my painted wooden slices I did, and I also have added "charms" or embellishments to each snowmen. They were glued on first - then when it was time to use the acrylic spray, I just made sure I added extra sprays on the embellishments to lock them in further. It really does work well!

Used this product to seal acrylic paint on Mother’s Day crafts I created with my sons. The paint hasn’t moved at all! Way less hassle than mod podge, just a quick spray.

I have used this on wood items to be natural color so i can dust them off easily. I also used it on ornaments my grandkids painted then added glitter then I spray this coating on both sides but outside if warm out or in the basement over cardboard so they last for many years!

I bought a bird house that needed protection against the weather because the birdhouse I put up last year got destroyed in one season. I sprayed a large birdhouse with this clear coat and it dried instantly. I was able to apply 2 coats with one can. The shine is unmistakably beautiful.

It shines, but ripples like waves. Something about this has changed from my last purchases. The nozzle seems different. I was happy when I saw more wideness in the spray. Okay, cool, more surface area coverage, I thought. Grabbed a painted 3" beach rock. Sprayed it. Then it dried. I noticed a little ripple in the finish. Another coat. It dries. Confused because more ripples. Grab a painted santorini (smooth flat sureface). Repeated above steps but further away. Same outcome. It looks like I sprayed a ton on the surface, let it sit for a but but not dried, turn a fan on, and let it ripple the sealant. So something is off. Is the nozzle too powerful? Or is something different about the formula? Get I get a bad can? And yes, I know how to spray a project. I have been sealing projects for 37 years. Would only recommend if it is your project and you dont care about imprefections. But as an art seller, stay away. It will ruin your project.

This product does not live up to its labeling. Its supposed to be a "gloss". I would call it a "satin" or just a sealer. I applied 2 coats and still see no shine. Very disappointing. Would not purchase if a nice gloss finish is what your looking for.
