ALEKO 12x10 ft Sand Motorized Retractable Patio Awning

The awning is really pretty but please read the directions completely first. After the installer got it all put together and up he found the motor needed to be installed first. Needless to say he has a lot of extra work to do

Needs someone with construction knowledge and ability to interpret written instructions as they are not too clear to instal this. Product very nice when in place.

Moves a lot even in mild wind. Not as sturdy as we thought. Customer service is terrible. I was lied to about shipping. After several emails & calls I was fortunate enough to speak to Nadia & Marie. They got the job done immediately as promised. Good work ladies!

The awning faded within 4 weeks A LOT. May as well say no instructions because they were vague at best. It works properly and does the job

Great item but poor instructions on how to put together.

DO NOT BUY THIS AWING!!!! The reviews say it is easy to install but what they don't tell you is how hard it is to assemble. The instructions were incomplete and the videos were not helpful either because they skipped steps just like the instructions. There were different instructions for each step but none of them were complete. We spent almost 5 hours trying to assemble this awning and even after Piecing together all the instructions we are not sure it is assembled correctly. I spent all this money on an awing that is still laying on my deck because it is so hard to assemble. The one positive thing is that it looks great just wished it was hanging over my deck and not laying on it.

It takes quite a while for the awning to extend out, and the left side of my awning drops down much farther than the right. Overall when it's fully extended if someone was to stand up, they would hit their head, and the base is mounted more than 12 feet off the ground. Also, the instructions that it came with are different from the suggested viewing on YouTube Send someone to fix this.
